Great meal choices, bowls to rolls, platters
The guy who stands in the cashier. OMG he had an attitude. Stopped by to enjoy their Ramen soup. I was handed a pack of food even though I wanted to eat inside. I Was treated like “why are you here!!” “Leave”. The cashier guy didn't even stop to listen when I said I want to dine inside. He handed the take away food and left? . I asked for Napkins. I was told why you want more!!! I gave you some in the plastic. This is not how you treat your clients. Absolutely not recommended

I have been going here for over 15 years and the food is as good as the first time I tried it. The Spicy Tuna bowl is my favorite although I enjoy the Teriyaki Chicken bowls too. One of the only places that have not raised their prices during these tougher times. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
The wait was a bit long yet the portion was huge and the kabocha tempura was delicious. The beef was very very salty yet the amount of tempura they give you is so much, I was very full after eating this in my car!Is it "Washoku"? The jury is still out on this one.The menu consists of yakisoba, teriyaki, curry, and california rolls. These foods are arguably easy to make comfort foods that anyone can make at home. Yet the portion and price that California Bowl offers cannot be beat, it certainly is quantity over quality. California Bowl is a restaurant that exists in a unique realm of the Americanized Japanese food that has been cultivated here over the past century. The emphasis is on comfort and fulfillment, which strikes a cord to it's many customers.
Just tried this place for the first time. It is LEGIT! Clean, reasonable and delicious. Can’t ask for more!

The best Tempura outside of little Tokyo! Sushi is fresh, teriyaki bowls are savory and delicious.
Very good variety on their huge menu, much deliciousness to choose from here. I've been the lone sushi fan in our home for years, but I finally convinced my wife to try the Mexico City Roll and now she asks to come here to eat. Talk about me being a happy camper, sushi no longer has to be my guilty pleasure, I can share it with the love of my life. Our son is very picky, but he loves the Chicken Katsu here, and that means the entire family can eat together and get what they want. We love this location. Great Teriyaki, sushi, and appetizers; even the Miso soup is yummy. As a matter of fact we have yet to be disappointed eating here at California Bowl; keep up the great work please.
