Weâve been meaning to try this place since we moved to the valley. We were celebrating our anniversary and our experience was great! Scott really took care of us in a vintage steakhouse booth in the dining room. This was my first time inside a restaurant without a mask since 2020 and I felt very safe as the tables and booths arenât on top of each other. Now for the food: famous garlic bread - amazing, French Onion soup, sooo good and a huge portion. The prime rib was perfect, plenty for leftovers and the cheesecake was excellent as well. Thanks for making our night great!
The food was was great the beef bourguignon, fried chicken and the filet steak dinners. The service was good .
The place itself is so cool. Old style feels like you're going back in time. We recommend this for BAR food only! Their drinks are great BUT fine dining it is not. The steak was hard and not fresh, the garlic bread wasn't as good a the promote. This is just an old school local hang out. Staff is great but we would only go back for burgers at the bar and not a fine meal.
The food here is delicious, and high-quality. The shift should be commended filet mignon was beyond expectations very tasteful perfectly cooked and so is the calamari. Most excellent customer service bar none. Highly recommend it.
They rarely have Sand Dabs available, but the rest of the menu does not disappoint. Ask for the hand stuffed blue cheese olives in your martini at this classic 1947 restaurant.
Having a prime rib during the week is amazing the steak is great as is the carrot cake, have been coming here for years and the service and food is consistently good
Always consistently good and fresh food. Fantastic cocktails, which the bartender is happy to make to your specifications if you ask. Fantastically fun and friendly staff. Even the clientele is happy, friendly and love engaging in conversation. Iâve dined at the Valley Inn Restaurant since 1995, and return as often as I can, and I still feel the unique and timeless; comfortable ambiance of the place every time Iâm there.
