Lovely summer morning, in perfect Sherman Oaks. Hot 8 Yoga, now cappuccino, then to Burke Williams. First time here, staff was great, thanks!!!
We've lived in this neighborhood for nearly a year and just discovered this place. Cards on the table, I didn't get anything but my girlfriend got a coffee and said it was great. The empanadas look delicious. So we plan on going back to eat soon.
This place is great. The staff is kind and quick. The mocha I had and the empanadas were delicious. I noticed good seating outside if you have kids and/or dogs. The seating inside was comfortable and clean. I’m looking for reasons to go back to this area just for this coffee shop! Cheers ☕️
I don't live in the neighborhood and was passing by the area while looking for a coffees shop. The great online reviews led me to Tortoni. There weren't a lot of customers in the shop when I visited and there was one barista working at the bar. Then someone emerged from the backroom and helped out at the coffee bar, probably because of a backlog with online orders. I ended up getting a cappuccino that felt rushed, it was burnt and foamy. The friendly service was probably the only good thing to remember about the visit.
Been coming here since I moved to LA in 2020. It's still one of my favorite coffee spots with great tasting varieties and pastries. The indoor seating is a little to close (in proximity to each other) for my comfort, but there is a decent amount of outdoor seating. I'd probably come here more often if I didn't have to pay for parking, lol!
This is the perfect local cafe you can go too on a daily! Their Argentinian coffee tastes divine! They have yummy pastries and empanadas. The staff is amazing a friendly, and they’ll remember you and what you order if you go there often. I always get their iced coffee with a splash of milk and caramel. It’s also a great place to study, they have a restroom and complimentary wifi.
Tortoni Caffe in Sherman Oaks is a delight. Very clean. Very nice and friendly people working there. My first time but will not be my last.
Visited Tortoni when out to see my son. I am an extremely fussy coffee person, and have had coffee all over the world. This was one of the coffees I’ve ever had. The owners are amazing!Guess who came home for Xmas and bright me the best gift!! I’m getting my Tortoni fix in The DC area!??. Happy mama!
Only place I’ve been in LA where the customer service is consistently kind and authentic. What a refreshing breath of fresh air! It is clear the owners take pride in what they do. Even when there’s a line out the door, they put intentionality into every drink. For example-I ask for honey and cinnamon in my iced latte. They put the effort to blend the espresso with the honey and cinnamon before adding milk and ice. Seems obvious but you’d be surprised how few places don’t get it!!! The place has style and such a welcoming neighborhood vibe. Oh, and the kale+mushroom quiche is a little too good :)
I stopped by Tortoni to get some work done and enjoy a cup of coffee. Karina, one of the owner is the sweetest. She recommended the Macadamia flavor for my latte and I loved it. Her kindness and her attentiveness for her customers is definitely wha makes this place unique. I highly recommend it :)
