A combination fishmonger and café. I come for the café and enjoy the heavywood sidewalk seating along Ventura Boulevard. Exterior may be a bit better than interior to avoid some fishes aroma with your café.

Fish on the rightside. Café on the leftside.

"Hidden" gem for high-end restaurant quality fresh fish daily, mostly smoked but they also have fresh shellfish, sashimi and fillets. 10x better than anything you will find at a farmers market or grocery store. We are addicted to the smoked salmon belly, cheek and bluefin. A must try for anyone who likes fish.

This a a seafood oasis for Chefs, coffee fans & cooking enthusiasts. Amazing seafood selection. The limited smoked selection menu dangerously ? delicious.

Amazing fish and meat cut and cured by professionals. Won’t go anywhere else in the Valley.

Limited but interesting bakery goodes selection.

If I was in Amsterdam calling a place that serves coffee The Joint might make sense. I am not sure why this hybridize café and fish monger chose that name. I came for the café and it is good. The inside is modern and almost European with clean lines and simple decór. Large windowpanes provide light and a view of the boulevard. Some baked goods are also on offer and lok to be made in house.

Awesome vibe. Great coffee. Cool location that's a coffee shop and an aging fish market. This is one pretty cool place.

We buy our seafood weekly from Santa Monica Seafood. We were in the neighborhood, and wanted to try out this place. We truly wanted this place to be on our 'go to' list. Unfortunately, We felt extremely unwelcome. The attendant felt bothered by the questions we were asking and responded in short quick bursts, not even trying to help. He just wanted us to tell him what we want and get out. Very unfriendly and cold customer service. Lastly, prices are 30% to 50% higher than Santa Monica Seafood, and customer service is not even there. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The best sashimi grade place hands down.
