Have had a good experience and a not great experience here. One time pizza was pretty good another time it was not great. Staff is reasonably friendly. Prices slightly high. Paid $17 for two slices and a drink.
I think they need to remove the "Ny" from their name. It does not look, smell or taste like the NY pizza I know. I was curious and wanted to see if it was worth the hype. 2 large slices for around $5 and some change total, not bad. But it really did not have much flavor. You will want to put parm, oregano and pepper flakes for sure. It was alright but certainly nothing to write home about, honestly. If you are in the neighborhood and are hungry for pizza, it's not a complete waste. But I would not drive out of my way for it. Service was inattentive and not very friendly.
I’m sure there’s other great stuff on the menu, but I can’t get past Angelo’s Garlic Chicken pizza. Get it Neapolitan style… The square one. And tell them you want it crispy… a little well done. Otherwise, in my experience, it needs a few minutes in the toaster oven at home. Which is maybe why they serve it that way. I live near there and I bet I’ve had that pizza 150 times in ten years. Otherwise I cook healthy food at home, but when I want a treat… it’s Santino‘s. Just about every time. Unless I want Mediterranean, and then it’s my man Vatchek at Alcazar. These two places are gems.
This is literally the best pizza place I have ever had. If your in Los Angeles and want authentic New York style pizza, this is the spot to go to. I have been to many pizza places and this is by far my favorite and the best. There quality is unmatched and everything is delicious. They are also very consistent. My recommendation is getting the pizza well done.
The pizza was so delicious and friendly customer service.
We halted here with our companions for a speedy lunch. The spot is well adorned, the help is speedy and the staff is obliging. The best one was the pizza flavor that we requested for it was truly awesome. So velvety and scrumptious! It was an extremely fulfilling administration! Hence, this spot is energetically suggested!
I loooooooooove Santino’s pepperoni and pineapple pizza! Santino’s NY Pizza is a small pizza joint serving amazing NY-style pizzas. I found out about this place when going to a nail appointment (it's next door). My stomach was growling one day while I was getting my nails done. I committed to checking this place out as soon as I was done. So I did! The place isn't fancy or anything; it's like your average pizza spot. I ordered a slice of their pep and pine pizza. When I took a bite, my taste buds were going crazy! It was so freakin delicious. I can't even explain to you why. But after that day, I’ve been going back for more. On my last visit, I ordered a large pep & pine pizza to share with my family. I told my hubby he needed to try a slice. When he took a bite, his eyes opened wide in amazement. He ended up eating a total of 5 slices! This is a must-try for yourself spot. You'll thank me later! Enjoy!
Tasty pizza. Pleasant customer service.
Very disappointing pizza (via Postmates)
Amazing, authentic, tiny little gem I the valley!
