Nice Italian restaurant. Good food and service. Nice ambient. Nothing is excellent here but for the valley it's not bad. It was packed and the acoustics are bad there. Food came fast except one dish that they forgot and came 15 min late but they didn't charge for it. Skip the meat ravioli. The best dish is the chicken parm. Good coffee and deserts.
A true gem of the valley! Food was all amazingly delicious, we started Arancini served with fabulous homemade marinara sauce and also homemade ricotta spread with perfect toasted crostinis & caramelized, we also had their citrus salad, one that is incredibly fresh and perfect blended with its own vinaigrette! For dinner we had a classic Calzone with hand made dough and Tagliatelle Pasta with perfect amount of spiciness in it. My girlfriend also had a Burrata with Peas, pea puree, mint, lemon thyme appetizer, and since she is vegan we skipped the burrata cheese, which even tho so was still an amazingly flavorful dish. We took home their homemade tiramisu and had with tea, a very tasteful and fresh version the classic Italian dessert. Service is on point, full of young and welcoming staff. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful; very modern, with high quality furniture like by hand made finished, with an outstanding design, very well lighted and comfortable booth benches. We totally will be back and will recommend to friends and everyone that loves and appreciate the unique farm to table restaurant like the one that Osteria La Buca is!
Visited Osteria last night on a Tuesday at 8:30, which was sort of late, but it was very busy and people were still coming in to eat after 9:30, which shows its a great place! The service here is EXCEPTIONAL, our waitress was so friendly and all the wait staff were very nice. The apps were great, we did the octopus and ripped ricotta which was AMAZING. For dinner we did the bolognese pasta and mushroom pizza, the bolognese sauce was good, the pizza was not horrible, it was tasty I just wish it was a little bit more "hot" but I think its the cheese that was used, wasnt as melty. However, does not mean I would never come back, it was very tasty. They do have a corkage for $35 which is nice. Their drinks are delish!

LOVED this place! Just what we need in Sherman Oaks! Everything was fresh and delicious. Even the lettuce tasted so good! We had the gem salad (highly recommend), rigatoni bolognese (the sauce!!), margarita pizza, and the ricotta. The ricotta was out of this world delicious. Can’t rave enough and the outside patio was perfect for kids.
This food is beyond good! The pizza, the pasta, the sides...you can't go wrong. My new favorite dessert is budino because of this place and I don't even like pudding!

We went with several friends ages 75 to 5. Everyone enjoyed the wonderful food, the choices and the relaxed dining. A real winner if you enjoy great food.
