This place had charm and good food, but lacked so much in customer service it was laughable! Alma was the only one who was helpful and friendly, and made it worth choosing to stay.
I have extreme food poisoning from the tunanicoise Salad. Not only was it bland and dry, it was also old . Half of the ingredients not on the salad . Lettuce, a scoop of old tuna and some eggs , tomatoes and a few olives. I asked for dressing and salt ! In addition , The place is dirty ( the cracks on the floor and the dust ) . The girls sneezed in the open kitchen and didn’t wash hands Blaming it on allergies . It’s overpriced and underwhelming. You can tell that they are being very cheap. I’m in bed all day after eating old food. The prices should be dropped dramatically to reflect the quality . You feel ripped off leaving . I normally don’t leave reviews like this but I wanted to share as I am in bed all day !
Went here with a friend for a New Year’s Day brunch .I paid 45.00 for 2 avocado toasts , a latte and a tea.Not only was it one of the worst meals I’ve been served but it was served with paper plates and plastic cutlery.Not what o was expecting for a 45 dollar New Years brunch. I might have been able to accept all that but the attitude from the woman that was working was beyond rude.The latte was also served in a to go paper cup and had absolutely no foam , or taste . I asked for another and you’d think I had insulted her family . She made me another and then served us a piece of tasteless bread with some cold avocado smashed on it and enough crushed pepper to light your mouth on fire . We decided to go elsewhere cause we were really wanting a descent New Years brunch . I give her back the plate and wow .. the attitude I was met with was astounding. Beyond rude . I understand they were understaffed but it was not busy and I was not rude when I gave back the order. Basically I just told her it just wasn’t what we wanted or expected for a new year brunch or for that kind of money. I was really shocked by her aggressive attitude and rudeness. She begrudgingly refunded one of the toasts but basically I paid over 30 to be talked to rudely and served subpar food on paper plates with plastic cutlery. I know it’s Covid but come on .. also what ever happened to customer service ?
I love everything about Nesmon cafe. The staff are super sweet and attentive to all customers and the food is AMAZING!! They literally have the best pastries and their avocado toast is sooo good. Def coming here again soon!

I'd love to give this place a good review because things started off great. We were fully aware of the closing time of 3 PM. When we asked for a box to pack things up to leave there was absolutely 0 customer service. Not a word was said to us after asking, instead we were greeted with a glare and a box slung at us. After returning outside, my sister was finishing feeding her 5 week old baby. The server proceeded to take the last bit of shade we had by taking the umbrella inside with no warning. It put the baby in the direct sunlight with absolutely no warning. I get that we're still in the middle of a pandemic, and no one wants to be working. However, we were kind, tipped 20% and still got the worst attitude from the staff. It was incredibly unnecessary. We left by 3:11.
Gloves please!! The staff here are so nice, but hard to watch only two of them wearing gloves. The blonde girl and front cashier had their bare hands on everything- frozen fruit, plates, receipts, adjusting their masks, taking card and cash, then preparing food again. I added the extra star because they really are so nice here and the food is good, but to forego gloves in an open kitchen is just bad and looks unclean. My bf had a hair in his salad but we know, it happens…We didn’t even mention it. We see it’s busy and they keep it running smoothly. Just hope you guys can enforce the gloves, maybe at least while we’re all still promoting the mask wearing. I like it here. Sorry to report ?
