My favorite restaurant in Sherman Oaks! The food is always excellent, and love sharing many plates each time. The hummus and octopus are my favorites, and hands down the best crispy Brussels sprouts I've had at any restaurant!
I am devastated. This used to be my very favorite restaurant. It’s my birthday and I have been looking forward to a great meal! They changed their menu and all their delicious specialties (Moroccan fried chicken, tagines, grilled octopus & laffa bread) have been removed from the menu. Now it’s just your average Mediterranean restaurant. Kebabs, pita & hummus.
Some of the item were brilliant, like an abundance of fresh green herbs in the pita, and the watermelon salad with the thin slices of cucumber. Fresh and delicious. On the other hand there were a few misses, such as the dry pita bread.
Incredible!! The menu is revamped and is now more limited options, but incredibly delicious! I got the falafel and halva shake... So fresh and just outstanding!!!
Hands down best Mediterranean food in the valley, best I've ever had frankly. I have gotten pretty much everything on the menu and it's all delicious. The falafel, cauliflower, broccoli, chicken, and kefta are my favorites. Definitely get a shake too
I love this place very much. I had Moroccan chicken and Hummus with shawarma also Potato Sauerkraut Latkes. It was pretty decent.
An abject failure. Hardly anything resembling service. Pathetically tiny quantities of food, and missing items in my takeout. The food itself hardly resembled the traditional dishes I was expecting, as I am Middle Eastern know what to expect when I order Moussaka and veggie kabob. Not to mention that it clearly seems like this restaurant has fallen on hard times because the actual quality of the ingredients themselves was exceptionally poor. I ate a lean cuisine freezer entree earlier in the day that had higher quality ground beef. Shameful. Also ordered a sour cream cake and received an enormous tub of what seemed like canned cheesecake filling. The entire experience was bizarre and all the food went immediately into the trash because it was inedible. Do not waste your money here.
Absolutely one of the most delicious meals I've ever had. Basically get the hummus and brussel sprouts and order baba ganoush and put on top of the brussel sprouts. BEYOND delicious. I also ordered the chicken and lamb skewers and rice. Even the mint iced tea was delicious. I'll be back to try more. The neighboring table ordered shrimp ? and some other things that also sounded delicious. This is the perfect spot for a date night or group.

AMAZING FOOD. Poor treatment of labor force.Mizlala was quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants. Food and atmosphere are incredible. I was well on my way to becoming a regular customer, until I found out that the restaurant owners were taking a cut of all tips made to wait staff via credit card. I was shocked to hear that the only way wait staff were able to get 100% of tips was if tips were given by customers in cash. I do not think I will be returning until this scheme is resolved. A true shame that the restaurant owners would sacrifice regular customers for poor treatment of employees.
