We had dinner with my husband, unfortunately among the things we noticed right away were the total lack of cleanliness and the poor quality of food.We left the food on the dishes and asked for the bill. We tried to explain the problem without being dramatic but the lady unfortunately didn't manage the situation properly and treated us in a hostile way (and I'm being nice with this review) also she made us pay for the extra food we left. Our desire was to pay for everything even if we didn't like it, but in such a situation I think it would have been right and professional (at least) not to charge us the extras of the leftovers we left and the tips, which for such a service, we didn't want to leave. (Yes, it was 15% gratuity)Fortunately, at least the tips were extracted from the bill, but we are still upset, angry and sincerely still hungry. One thing is when you order too much and you can't eat everything in "a all you can eat"meal, another thing is when the food and the service is not good at all. That's not fair.If you are looking for a restaurant where you can find cleanliness, quality and courtesy, look elsewhere. Never again.
I rated the spot five stars a couple of times over the last several years. This is my first time back and probably two and a half years, mainly because of Covid. The price is gone up a little bit and I feel like, and it could be wrong, but the amount of rice for the sushi has gone up and of course as most know, you can't just not eat the rice. As I'm getting older, I think I also can't eat as much. Still great quality, seared tuna, albacore, yellowtail, are still some of my absolute favorites, and the salmon was still mostly buttery. Definitely would recommend this place and I would rate them closer to the 4.5 versus 5 stars but that's not an option on Google :-(. If you're in the mood for all you can eat sushi, you can never go wrong with Midori.
Didn’t eat here place looks cute wanted to come hang out with a friend who didn’t want to eat just drink but heads up all you can eat only so save your time if you just wanna drink only gotta go elsewhere cute place though
Me and my wife go here Sunday for dates and the service is awseome ,and you can't beat the all you can eat sushi . Also great quality. The owner walks around to make sure everything runs well
Extremely bad service. Everyone was being so rude to us and walking away when we talked to them. On top of that, they would not let us take our food to go and forced us to finish our food or else they would throw it away. We were not told that an all you can eat means you have to finish EVERY single thing! It shocks me that they would rather throw the food away rather than let us take it and eat it. Plus, we were two people and we were limited to 5 items each… I thought it was ALL you can eat? Never coming back.
Bad Service, Understaffed, Unclean & Neglected. The food is not worth that hostile environment, longest wait times, and sour faces of the staffWe came to eat at this restaurant, and it was our first time ever visiting there. It took about 15 min for the server to come to us.Since they had only 1 server, the owner came and served us.The owner was grouchy, confused and all over the place. The owner made several mistakes on our orders, was impatient, and actually accused us of her mistakes. When we showed her that we wrote the right order on their order sheet, she realized that she made the mistake, yet, didn't even apologize.Ehen the food came, it was smelly, and cold (It's all you can eat sushi). After a long wait, the owner accused us on being difficult, and never leaving a tip in the past, which was Extremely Odd, since it was our first time there. This begged the question, was that a Racist Remark?
Huge disappointment and waste of time. The problem started with our second round. The wait time to get our food after filling out our sheet took a grand total of almost an hour. It was explained much later, after we complained about a 200+ dollar bill, that the items were entered incorrectly and the kitchen did not get the ticket. Understandable. We work in service. We talked to the server and she notified her manager. They took off the $70.00 + worth of mis-rings that we should not have been charged for anyways. Good. As they should. Then our check came and they bill was full charge per person. What was not understandable was the fact that they didn't put a discount on our food. We waited so long that we were hungry, disappointed, and sad. We left an AYCE place very hungry ??. Never returning. Plus the fish was eh quality. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't $38.00 per person good. The premium mackerel was mushy and vomit inducing in taste and texture. Yellowtail was ok, salmon ok, tuna decent. Want a great AYCE? Go to Aburi in Pasadena. Cheaper and way better quality fish and management resolution practices.
Good, fresh sushi. Lots of custom rolls to choose from. I've been coming here for many years and the workers do cater to you nicely. But I do miss the old crew. We still had a great experience. Make sure to share your pitchers of beer with the sushi chefs.
I went this past weekend and I didn't leave a tip on my card because the service was pretty awful. I normally always tip at least 20%. I looked at my bank statement this morning and they left a tip for me LOL. $10 was added to my total bill. I called them tonight and asked them what happened. The lady said that they added a tip because I didn't...A woman was too stunned to speak! The Manager sent me $10 on Zelle lol...
Good quality food and clean environment.
