I tried to order a pizza for pick up from joes. Horrible service. I could not order what my family wanted from their less than stellar website. Only general pizzas are available through the website. So I called and was basically told tough luck. I have spent much money in this establishment but am incredibly dissatisfied with the way I was treated and the service I received. Good pizza bad service…. Shame….
1000% not like it used to be! I just placed an order almost 2 hours ago for my family. It was a variety of different pizza slices. I placed the order online and showed up when their website told me to show up. When I got there they told me that they now will not heat up any slice orders until the person gets there. What is the point of ordering online in advance then? (I’m hoping that this guy just didn’t realize I was a regular and told a white lie because he was embarrassed that he had forgot to start my order!)I’ve been a regular Joe’s customer for like almost 15 years now. An online order or a phoned-in order has never not been ready for me before when they told me it was gonna be ready! I am so disappointed; I feel like I need to find a new pizza place. ?
FINALLY! Someone who makes good, hand tossed (I mean like they actually toss their own dough) fresh and delicious pizza and calzones. It is going to be hard for anyone to keep up with Joe's. Their calzone offering is off the HOOK and HUGE!I work across the street at Sepulveda and Ventura. It's an easy walk (and you wanna bcz that parking lot is ridiculous at lunch time) or have them deliver.
Ordered online in advance and the food wasn't started until after we arrived so we had to wait anyways. They did offer a free slice while we waited, so they cared to try to make it up to us. The parking lot is tragically bad, so much so that I'm shocked there isn't a Trader Joe's in the center. The pizza is good, the clazones are okay.
Joe's Pizza15030 Ventura Blvd, Sherman Oaks caGo to web site to orderSmall pizza place in Sherman Oaks. Located in the small strip mall with Starbucks.I'm from NY and appreciate a good pizza. In 20 years I've found Antonio's and Joe's. To be heads above otjers. I gave Antonio's 5 stars. I'll give Joe's 6 if I could. For a while his pizzas were good but I'd guess he has a new chef. Something changed. The last 3 orders were outstanding. He's now putting out great NY enjoyable pizza.
Was great when they first opened, quality has slipped a little since, but still better than almost all of the other local places advertising NY style pizza.
best new York Pizza ever. Excellent crust and cheese. highly recommend.
Great Italian subs. Great pizza. Careful with their prep. The online ordering system works very well for modifications, etc.
We sat outside for more than 20 mins. They even didn’t bother to call us. They put the pizza in the store to get cold. And they didn’t even care when I asked why you didn’t call us. careless.
Good for pizza because it actually tastes like a slice you would get in NY.
