Food is very good. I liked it that they let me taste the chili. Just a little pricey but I could live with it.

Been here twice. Eggs and pancakes always a bit dry and overdone. Not terrible but honestly worse than many chains. If there was an IHOP nearby I'd probably go there instead for breakfast.

While vacationing in Los Angeles my wife and I had lunch at Jinky’s Cafe. We sat outside since the weather was nice. I had the Mexican Pizza and my wife ordered the Grilled Veggie Sandwich w/Sweet Potato Fries. Our meals were very good. I would come back again.

I have had brunch in more than 20 places in LA and Jinky's is in my top five list. It's cozy, fast and delicious. If you go during the weekend, don't miss the weekend's Benedict specials. They come with hollandaise sauce which is awesome. For weekends, depend on the party size, you may have 15-45 minutes waiting time to be seated, but the area (North Beach) is nice to walk!
Good food but be careful if you are a minority. I arrived at Jinky's way before a white couple entered and the server was determined to seat them before me. The white woman even felt bad and offfered to give me the table because she knew that we were there before her. The server was a white male about 65 years old and disrespectful. I will take my money elsewhere. Good food isn't worth bad service and being treated like a 2nd class citizen.
