Came here for the first time to have lunch. It was a Saturday around 1pm. The wait time to be seated was 15 minutes which was not bad. But we ended up finding seats at the bar right away so we sat at the bar instead. Bartenders were very friendly and welcoming. I like the atmosphere. Plus they play 80s new wave music too. 5 stars boom!
Came in with my family, the staff were kind. We had fast service, and the food was amazing (we got hearty portions). I definitely plan on visiting again.
Stayed in Seal Beach before a cruise out of Long Beach. Walked to the Hangout and had a very good dinner & drinks. Got seated quickly on a Friday night & waited on promptly. The mussels and clams with chorizo sausage was very good along with the shrimp & grits. The prices were reasonable compared to other local eateries. Would definitely come back again!

Great restaurant. Excellent service, great drinks and friendly atmosphere. The food was outstanding, fried fish sandwich on sourdough bread perfect and crispy fries.Would recomnend this restaurant to anybody..really enjoyed ourselves.
Had a great dinner! My guy had the double bypass burger - huge and amazing! I had the Cobb salad which was fresh, delicious and ample! Server was great! Even though we got there near to closing, we weren't rushed. Highly recommend the Hangout!
The food here is great. For a appetizer I got Mac and cheese. For entree I got steak. I highly recommend eating here. We were able to eat outside because we had dogs with us. The waitress was really friendly. She was also friendly to our dogs.
