Very average Mexican food at high end prices. Not sure about the 5 star reviews? Definitely NOT 5 maybe 3 if you order the right thing, My 2 taco combo was very flavorless, beans were undercooked and cold and margarita was watered down. I would only eat here again if I was starving and would skip the drinks. Service was above average but food average to below so don't trust these reviews or even Yelp!!!
Super disappointed. Went here bc good reviews. Cool spot great service but the food was basic. They must be known for their margaritas which I didn't drink. Next time I will go for chips and salsa (which was the best part of the meal) and drinks.
My friends and I decided to stop by this place for a bite to eat while we were exploring Seal Beach. This place is a perfect lunch spot, as the food is delicious and the staff were accommodating with our seating preferences. Their cucumber skinny Margarita was absolutely delicious, and i highly recommend you try it! Their taco salad was also really good and filling. We sat on the patio, which was nice because they were dog friendly too. I would definitely come back again.
Yummy traditional Mexican food at Avila's El Ranchito on Seal Beach's Main Street! The chips and salsa were fresh and tasty and bought us some time to look over the menu! I ordered the fresh guacamole and chips to start and then chicken fajitas for the entree! Both were so good I would come back anytime! The beach and good Mexican food go hand in hand!! Def worth stopping in!
Our favorite Mexican restaurant in downtown Huntington Beach !The outdoor and indoor seating is cozy and welcoming.The food is good. My friend goes there every day for lunch to order the soup.It’s classic Mexican cuisine with lots of refills of the crispy tortilla chips and salsa.The restaurant is cozy and is a great place to get a drink or meal with friends and family.The service is very good. This little place is awesome. Great margaritas. I love there surf and turf Tacos. Chips and salsa are great as well as the guacamole on the side. Lots of food...kick back and people watch!!! Not to far from the pier for a great afternoon stroll.

Prices are good, location is okay, people are nice and accommodating. Parked in a nearby public parking (3$), not too busy around 5pm. The food arrived straight away, it was good. The food is a little on the bland side, there’s no overwhelming taste and there weren’t any sauces on the table. I had to ask for some hot sauce to add more flavor to give it some heat. This isn’t typical of me to ask for extra hot sauce! I think I would pass on it moving forward.
