We go there for the specials. Thursday is my favorite with the chicken pot pie. It comes out quickly and it is very warm. The taste is wonderful. Mom and wife share one together. I have one for myself because I'm still a growing boy. We are so full when we leave. I like the Beef Stroganoff and Meatloaf. The staff is very friendly and I think they are starting to know who we are.
My fist visit after the remodeled has done, is a very nice looking place, clean and comfortable. But tge food is very bad, no flavor, very poor pirtions, not even a garnish on it, I had the pork chop and eggs, I asked the server to make sure my meat is super well done twice, he looks like haven't slept well the night before, when I got my plate the first thing I noticed is my chop not cooked the way I asked. He took back to the kitchen few seconds later he brought back deep fried well done but super dry, like a chicharron,I have to get up to my own condiments because he nerve gets me some, even worse he nerve asked me if I want for coffee. Bad service, bad food
The wait time was decent for it being a Sunday. The food was good. It seems the staff may have been understaffed which is understandable and we appreciate the service time. Unfortunately because of it we never got refills.
Very good diner food. Prices had to rise because of the pandemic but quality still top notch. Recent remodeling of the entire restaurant creates an inviting and modern atmosphere. Highly recommend the pie for dessert. Many choices (they are a very good bakery to go) of desserts but the pies are very fresh and large portions.
Service was nice and attentive. New decor was also nice and modern, a little crammed but doable. The food is what was really bad. The salad was BROWN, wow. I got the hot turkey dinner which was deli turkey heated on top of white bread smothered in salty gravy that had a film on top... The vegetables were canned. I only ate the mashed potatoes. Not going back.
First of I need to share we went in few minutes after serving had stopped (7:30 pm). The hostess said it would be alright. For this alone I am grateful. The restaurant remodel went well, the decor is very nice. I had the touchdown breakfast, everything was delicious. My wife had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. Everything was cooked very good and especially the deliciously different gravy. It provided the the right flavor..We will be sure to go back
The location was very clean and they were very very busy,Server was excellent order was correct,We ordered the prime rib, it was slow coming out to the table, can't say to much about the prime rib however it was not up to par, the beef was inedible my date and my self ate a couple of bites,Then ate the baked potato, salad, and the vegetables. This prime rid dinner was the worst that we have been served, not to mention that they didn't have any horseradish sauce. The meat didn't look like it was fresh and did not look like it had been cooked properly had a lot of connective tissue and gristle .My conclusion is.the meat was of poor quality.I sincerely hope that the owner will investigate this problem. We will be going back i am sure that they have other meals that are above average
First visit since the new owners and remodeling. The service was good. Food was OK. Not sure how the updated bar was because a party took over the whole room. Didn't have drinks that night, so not sure how they were. They were short on staff but kept up. The employees were pleasant.
The servers are so awesome! Such sweet young people. There is a sport t.v. section with a fantastic bar, and a quiet section to just eat. There is also an outside area. Two people meal and sodas with ice aroind $40 /$50. I recommend this old family style place.
We enjoyed a very good breakfast at Jimmy's two times in a 10 day span and both times our servers were excellent. The food was delicious as was the coffee.
