OUTSTANDING ICE CREAM!Both the taste and the amount you get. Also liked the solid selection of flavors and different options like Sundaes and shakes.We were torn between Handel’s and Baskin and I’m glad we chose this spot. At BR a single scoop cone is a tiny little pathetic scoop. Some shops even weigh the cone to make sure you are getting tue bare minimum ice cream scoop. At Handel’s (look at pics) that is a single scoop. So much better value.This was our first time visiting and we will definitely be back.
Love coming here, so many flavors to choose from and they're all delicious! Super well priced too, I'd recommend the 4 scoop sampler for 2 people. The staff is friendly and efficient!
Ice cream was very soft. It melted right away. It was a bit pricey. Paid over $26 for 5 cones. The ice cream was a bit on the sweeter side. I will be sticking to thrifty ice cream. It's cheaper and taste great. This location does have a variety of flavors and selections.
First time visiting. Homemade ice cream made fresh daily. We shared a four scoop sampler of mint chocolate chip, chocolate raspberry truffle, black cherry, and one other I can't remember. They were delicious. There are so many flavors to choose from, and we're looking forward to trying a bunch more!

First time taking the family here (Santee location), and Handel's didn't disappoint. I'll go on record to say that this beats Baskin Robbins and Coldstone, hands down. We tried a handful of different flavors and they were all so good! Sense and creamy with a ton of flavors. We'll definitely be back, but cannot wait for the Eastlake location to open up. Keep up the great service and flavor selections!
Just happened by the place. I saw a group of senior citizens waiting for something. Usually senior citizens have experience and congregate at the best spots. This was no exception. The help was fantastic. I can't recommend anything. I'd recommend everything. Made fresh everyday, at the site. Short your baskin Robbins Stock immediately.
Great-tasting ice cream. Easy to find and get to. Adequate parking. But be prepared to wait a bit for your little bit of heaven. I have never seen it without a line. But it's worth the wait. I looked online to see about ordering ahead, but didn't seem to be an option. While there you can see that Doordash delivery is an option, but we didn't try that. If you love ice cream, you'll LOVE Handel's Homemade.
I tired two of the most popular flavors ( mint chocolate chip and vanilla with Oreo) and they don’t taste good at all I have had better store bought ice cream.
The ice cream is creamy and tasty. The owners are great. The service is quick. I love this place.
