The food here is delicious. A friend of mine recommended this place to me when I was looking for something to eat when I was around the area. The staff helping each time we’re polite and efficient. The cooks make really good burritos -that’s all I’ve ordered so far. Their habanero sauce is fire. The inside has been clean each time I was in. Definitely a five star restaurant to me.
The gyro fries are amazing! Wasn't expecting to order these when I looked up a Mexican food place considering I was craving tacos, but I had to try them. Very happy I did!
Lovely street tacos! I requested chorizo tacos, though not on the menu, they had no problem making them. So so good!

Place is literally right next door to a cremation place I don't know why anybody would set a restaurant there.. positive thing I would say is the ideal of carne asada curry fries.
This place is really good. Shredded beef tacos are the best. Everything I have had has been great. Fast, nice service, just the entrance and parking are a bit awkward.
It's very pricey but consistent and good they definitely improved over the last couple years.
Hands down, Ferny's is my favorite counter serve burrito place in San Diego area. I know I haven't been to them all and I also know that not everyone shares my same tastes, but Ferny's sells quality food. I rank them far above places such as Cotijas, Estradas, Mr. Birria, Tu Taco, Adalbertos, and El Indio. My two favorites are the adobada burrito and the Cali burrito. Make sure you try their Fea salsa if you like things spicy.
Carne Asada burrito seemed small at first but it was packed! Staff was friendly and we noticed that they were constantly keeping the place clean (mopping, cleaning tables).
This was our first time going here, such great prices for the amount of food you get. There are many meats to choose from. The employees are very sweet. I recommend if you are in the area or on the go! Great service.
