i wish i could give this place a reward for being amazing, i never had a bad experience here i live right around the corner so it’s convenient to come here. the food is delicious and great customer service

My favorite chicken place. My dogs love it too. Healthiest and best tasting chicken around.

This is the last time I will get food from this location. I have really tried to support local restaurants but out of four bad drive through orders in a row, this was the worst. I intentionally went at dinner time, figuring food would be fresher. I ordered a 4 piece that was literally burned. There was no meat left on the wing and the leg was shriveled and burned. All I could taste was char. The breast and thigh meat was so dry I couldn't swallow it without liquid. So disappointing because I used to go to the El Pollo Loco near my office several times a week and it was wonderful, crispy golden brown skin with moist chicken. I was craving the wonderful El Pollo Loco chicken I remembered.
We went to El Pollo Loco, in Santee, on Christmas eve, near closing time. We had to go inside because no one talked to us, over the speaker, in the drive thru. We didn't know that they closed at 7, and are deeply sorry for the last minute order. However, they made everything we ordered, fresh, and correctly. The only negative was that the salsa on my double avocado burrito was so hot, I could barely eat it, that and they forgot the dressing to our salad. But, we go to this location a lot, and I figured the hiccups today were due to trying to rush the orderthrough, so they could go home. Would like to thank the staff for taking our last minute order. Next time, I'll order the burrito without salsa lol.

I’m a delivery driver and I had to wait for everyone order before I got mine. Someone order after i was waiting and they got their food first? THAT DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE, MY CUSTOMERS ORDER WAS PREORDER. I’m definitely blacklisting your restaurant. Your system is broken.
