I was really craving a bagel and I found this place on a quick google search…from the moment I walked in the door I knew it wasn’t going to be a good experience. They did not have the bagel or the spread that I wanted. The lady at the counter seemed distracted and kept getting my order wrong (repeated back the wrong bagel, gave me the wrong cream cheese). I got a latte which was 99% milk. The everything bagel I ordered was good but the cream cheese had a very weird sweet after taste. I will never go back, way better bagel places around. Donuts looked really pretty but I didn’t order any.
This is a really cute place and very clean. Quite a selection of bagels & donuts. The bagels are light, airy, and tasty. staff is very friendly and kind. I will definitely have to come back and try some donuts.
Delicious well made coffee and good service! We also had a lemon currant scone which was to die for good! The ambiance was groovy too, with great tunes playing overhead, old brick walls, art, and plants. Quiet enough to get work done or just relax. Wish there was one close to home.
Everything was BEAUTIFULLY made but was 100% synthetic. All flavors, creams, fillings all came out of a 5 gallon bucket, can or bottle. Don't get me wrong, everything was good but we wont be back. The final straw was the fluffy soft and airy pastry-like bagel... all of those descriptors and NOT BAGEL. The only resemblance to a bagel was the shape. The hot neon pink strawberry stuff they called cream cheese was crean cheese cake frosting. They were packed and I hope they stay open forever just from the care and attention to detail I saw it the "assembly & presentation" of their yummies. But in the end we were looking for legit hand rolled water boiled bagels.Otherwise this place is honestly worth a try.
Amazingly surprised at the creative donut/bagel assortment and high quality! Friendle service too! This will definitely be our first stop next time we're back in the area.
The bagels in this place are really good. They are light and airy. If you like dense chewy bagels you will need to look elsewhere. I had an egg and cheese everything bagel. I will definitely return. I didn't have a doughnut but they looked good
I don’t really leave reviews that often but this place is worth it. We ended up getting a maple bar, crème brûlée donut, bacon egg and cheese,And a sesame bagel with cream cheese. Also got a cold brew.Maple bar - extremely fresh with best maple glaze I’ve had in SD.Creme brûlée donut - are you kidding me? best donut I’ve ever had period better than the famous donut factory in NYC crème brûlée donut.Bacon egg and cheese on everything - freshly cracked egg (awesome) rather than the floppy egg product I’m used to getting out here. On a nice chewy everything bagel.Cream cheese on sesame - fresh chewy bagel with good cream cheese no complaints.And what really blew me away is that I ordered a cold brew on a whim expecting the runoff sewer water that a lot of the coffee shops in SD serve but I got actual cold brew! It was nice and smooth with no bitter flavor!Really goes to show that all you need is to slightly care and use high quality ingredients to serve great food.
I have tried the bagels and donuts here a few times now and every time has been so good! There’s a wide variety of donuts to choose from and they have all been very fresh and delicious. The bagels are the best that I’ve had in the area and are always toasted perfectly. I will say the cream cheese is a little sweet for my preference. The lady who takes our orders each time is also so sweet and friendly.
This was the best Lox Bagel I've had! You get to choose which bagel you want and there's a ton of options. I choose sourdough and the bagel was sooooo fresh!! The lox was great quality and thick. My order was ready fast and the lady was nice. If you're looking to get your lox fix order the #11!
Glad to see a place like this exists in Santee. Tried this spot for the first time today and loved it and i usually don't even like donuts!
