Staff, food, service, all are fabulous. Hansel Bistro is a real French bistro.
Caesar salad, Chicken cordon bleu and duck breast were delicious. All serving staff are well versed in courteous service. We felt well taken care of throughout entire meal. Lots of little extras like small melon drink before dinner and port after at no charge. We didnât order dessert but received two small scoops of house made ice cream for my birthday. Overall good experience we will be back.
We loved everything about our recent dining experience at Walter Hansel. A great menu, excellent food and service....and their Proprietor's Pinot Noir was fantastic and such a surprise. I did the 3 tasting flight and enjoyed each one thoroughly. We will definitely be back.
Each person at our table raved about how delicious their food was & everyone appreciated the swift service from the waiter to each of the table attendants !
This is a gourmet restaurant with very attentive staff and excellent food. We live in Rincon Valley area of Santa Rosa and it was worth the drive! We will definitely return and tell our friends about this wonderful restaurant. Be sure to make reservations as it is not open everyday.
Excellent food, excellent service, very quiet. We had every course on the menu and everything was perfect. The steak and duck were especially good. The proprietor Pinot noir flight was a nice was to try all of the wines throughout our meal.
consistent, excellent quality service and the food and wine are always OUTstanding. don't wait for a special occasion - this is a go-to lovely restaurant any time. staff is always accomodating and clearly understand how to fine tune a meal to your needs. maybe our favorite restaurant in sonoma county over many years....
Wonderful French style Bistro. Food was excellent and the service even better. the three course prix fix menu was delicious - I had soup and halibut, my husband = salad and steak. My only suggestion for improvement would be to upgrade the outdoor space.
Food was amazing. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and seemed like they enjoyed their jobs! Lovely ambience!
