New American Waffles Salad

Usually, I'm a rational person & hate to be the type to complain (as I understand all types of inconveniences, especially when it comes to restaurants), however, the service received at this establishment was like no other. There was no order on how things were ran & we were immediately slapped with the most redundant boorish set of attitudes by front staff. My cousin was ordering before me & she wanted the special (some type of strawberry waffle), but she was shut down by the owner who said they didn't have any waffles. We asked what they weren't out of & she scoffed and said "literally anything else on the menu." & her server rolled her eyes & snickered. We also happened to pay for a 20% gratuity without our notice and consent. Upon receiving our food, there was no cutlery but we noticed every table beside us had them. My sister asked the front server for cutlery + napkins & she said she would bring them right over, but we waited and nothing arrived. Not only this, but a second server passed by us with waffles for a table that actually ordered after us!! My sister confronted the server who then said they weren't out of waffle batter, but that they were out of whipped cream. (She didn't have the intention of adding whipped cream anyway; It's $2 + she's vegan if that even matters). As stated before, I rationalize everything before I act out. I thought to leave a generous review and still at least keep it above 3 stars, but I can not stay quiet about such an unprofessional approach to how people food around. We were lied to, belittled, and neglected. It was perhaps one of the most inhumane, unpleasant experience ever. But if that's the type of scene you're into, I'd say that this is the best type of place for you!

This experience was absolutely confusing. The customer service was non existent, they tipped themselves 15%, didn’t have the drink we ordered and we watched several groups just leave because they weren’t getting served. Food was fabulous. We had eggs Benedict and croque madam- both were very good. Unfortunately I would not return though because of the service.

We waited an hour to get our food. It wasn’t busy when we went. My friend and I could hear the employees arguing with each other. No one came in to check on us, or to let us know that there was going to be a long wait for our food. When we decided to get up and leave, our food finally arrived. There was no apology or anything. I ordered a “Beni” which included potatoes and a salad. What I got was a Beni with a couple of boiled potatoes and a dollop of black something and like 4 pieces of lettuce with dressing and a single sliver of red onion. The fact that I can actually count the pieces of food on my plate is… to say the least… ridiculous. Not only did we have a bad experience, but we literally saw another table next to us wait the same amount of time as us but only get half of the plates they ordered.

I loved my Easter brunch at the Naked Pig. The parking was easy. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We actually came here for a family birthday celebration, just happened to be on Easter. Two of us had benes and the others had waffles. Rave reviews . I will definitely recommend to others. I saw some negative reviews about the wait. Fortunately, that problem was solved, as our food came very quickly!

I tried this place for the first time and I wasn’t impressed. $31 bought me the following: 12 ounces of lukewarm coffee and no refill, a 42 minute wait for a 9” thin waffle with no syrup and two “scambled” eggs shaped like a muffin tin. A carafe of water was also dropped off at my table but with no glass, and after repeatedly asking for one I was brought a fork. Yup, a fork for water. The place was far from busy. Still hungry, I finished my meager meal and went to a coffee shop around the corner to fill up. It looks cool on the outside but my experience was very disappointing on the inside.

It took over 45 minutes to get our food for only 2 dishes. There were only a total of 5 tables with guests seated. 2 other tables left because of food delays. The 3-4 kitchen staff were stating that they couldn’t figure out which dishes go to which table even though there was a specific card given to tables to identify orders for staff use.

Came here because of some good reviews, however we quickly learned that for this place farm to table is an excuse to gouge their customers. Service was horrible and the owner encouraged daughter to be rude. Food took forever to come out, what did come out was over cooked over easy eggs, over cooked eggs for egg Benedict, cold plates of food, and horrible hot tea and coffee. Don’t be sucker by the high ratings, no idea where they are coming from, but the rude staff and owners and mediocre food is not worth the price.

The food was good but I wouldn’t go back based on the pricing. I understand farm to table is an expensive idea but prices are not in line with other farm to table restaurants I have been to

I so wanted to love this. Everything about the concept is awesome. But, coffee sucked, breakfast was ok, not great but super, way over-priced even when considering the farm-to-table. Wouldn't have even blinked if it was super delicious but, umm, it just kinda wasn't. Will try again. Hoping it was just an off day.

My daughter and I decided to try this place for lunch. We ordered sandwiches, which came with a tiny green salad, and two ice teas. The total for this was almost $60, including the 15% tip they automatically add. The sandwiches were good, but on the small side, and the tea was syrupy sweet - undrinkable. All in all, a high price for a very mediocre experience and we probably won't be back.
