If you like craft beer and are in the Sonoma area, you have to come up here to experience some of the best of the west coast. The flight is 100% worth it so just commit! Also the pizza are very tasty!

Always an enjoyable visit. It's a tourist mecca, so don't look for personal service. Instead, enjoy the pros behind the bar, the great beer selection and a menu of pub favorites. There will most likely be a wait for a table, but there are usually two to three seats open at the bar. They have a fun merchandise shop, too. So you can take branded swag with you if it makes you happy.Pliney the Elder (and the Younger, when available) are the flagship brews. But there are many, many other great brews to try. And you should.A great place to take friends.Highly recommended.

A bad start turned good.We arrived 25 minutes till 9 pm Friday night, 25 minutes before the last call for food (according to their policy). We walked in to sit down, not realizing that you have to be seated by a host, we were greeted by a frustrated host who explained that there was a line waiting to be sat and they are simply too busy to seat any more tables now, but I was welcome to go to the bar to order a beer... We drove an hour and a half to have dinner there and of course some beer but It wasn't pleasant to hear that I couldn't eat now after that drive, esp when it was clearly still within their timeline. So, of course I expressed frustration of my own then walked off, debating just leaving to eat somewhere else. After a few more minutes the host walked over to my wife and said that someone had just canceled their place in line and that they would seat us. I was admittedly angry about how that situation was handled but at least we were able to sit and order food so thank you.Thank you staff for stepping up to make a first impression. The food was amazing! (Although the margarita pizza was literally just a standard cheese pizza with strips of basil leaves... Smh) and the beer was perfection as always.

We have enjoyed trips to Sonoma and Napa valley destinations many times now but we return to the Santa Rosa area mainly for this brewery! 2 properties; the larger and newer in Windsor, but the older brewpub is in downtown Santa Rosa. About 2 dozen beers to choose from including the famous “Pliny the Elder” and seasonal sought after “Pliny the younger”. Another citrusy favorite of mine “ Mind Circus “. Good food and pizza in general , but I must recommend “Pliny bites” which is a large pizza pan filled with finger sized cheese and jalapeño squares. I’m not usually a big beer drinker but have to agree with my wife that Pliny the Elder is just a wonderful mild double IPA and worth the trip all by itself! There is an amazing tasting flight that has 21 beer samples but be warned: 4 or 5 sours are included. Not my fav. We visited RRBC 3 times in a 4 day trip. It’s that good, check it out!

Waitress invited us to sit at a table, and as we were sitting a jerk staffer came up and rudely asked us to sit by toilets. Get your act together. Beer sucked too!

Passing through Windsor on the way to Healdsburg we were pleased to see Russian River Brewing Company, an internationally acclaimed brewery. Sampled a few of their dozens of brews on tap in their tasting room. Outdoor seating is also available. Very well informed and friendly servers. The servers were masked. We picked our favorite and bought a growler full to enjoy with our dinner back at the hotel.

Drove 2 hrs one way, waited for 2.5 hrs. on a Mon afternoon. The first sip of Pliny the Younger told me it was worth it! Great vibe. Met locals and folks who had flown in from places afar. Friendly service, good food! Nick was wonderful! I'm ready for the next year. :-)

Stopped in for beer, sampled the CA flight. Favorites: Pliny the Elder (of course) & Mind Circus - hazy IPA. Also snacked on Crudite: fresh veggies, homemade hummus & grilled naan bread.

Amazing - great beer - Pliny the younger

Awesome pizzas and chicken wings. Come for the beer, stay for the food.
