Front Desk Staff, Valets, and Housekeeping are friendly, personable, accommodating, and efficient. Room was clean, comfortable, with recent/updated interiors. We would definitely stay here again. Makes me wonder about the negative comments from other reviewers-every staff member we encountered was exceptional.

I was the wedding coordinator for a 120 person event. The hotel was to host the welcome party and the after party. Neither event was started at the correct time, one had food placed out 3 hours early and the other left guests locked out for 2 hours. All staff that we encountered wanted to argue about this until I showed them the contract with the correct starting times. More than one of the rooms that were rented for the event had broken showers, one did not even have a shower curtain or shower head. When the bride and groom asked for room freshening they only made the bed.. did not take out trash or clean in anyway, the sofa bed that the father of the bride had to sleep on, due to room movement did not have sheets, pillow or blankets. It took multiple trips and over an hour to get full linens for the bed. The list goes on and on. They may be great for the average guest, but I would not trust them with an event.

Shower broke during shower. Moved rooms and in front of room was big pile of laundry. Asked for it to be moved 3 different times. Catering event times were not correct even though contract was correct

Stayed here for a family event. The front desk staff was nice upon check in but our family had several issues throughout the stay, lack of a working shower as well as no shower curtain, events poorly executed with wrong start times and details, key reader in hotel room not working, unpaved parking lot even though they charged $18/day.

overall nice hotel in a very convenient location in Santa Rosa. Close to downtown (walking distance to Courthouse Square) and restaurants, breweries. very easy to get to wineries , etc. Hotel staff are friendly. Rooms are spacious and really modern. Big screen TV and really well organized &modern room décor. only problems were dirty bed sheets that had to be replaced and cleaning staff trying to enter my room at 8:30 am.

My son selected this hotel based on his stay at another Hyatt in California. This location definitely did not meet our expectations. Check in was easy and the agent was very pleasant. You are handed a paper that states "no daily housekeeping unless requested 24 hours in advance". REALLY?! We actually had to empty our own trash cans! Breakfast is $25, there is no coffee shop to just get a bagel or yogurt. My husband walked to the hotel across the street to get us breakfast. If you want lunch, you won't be able to get it in the hotel. You can get food from 3-9 pm by placing an order at the lobby bar and wait until they bring you your meal in a brown bag. I will say that the food was good. There is a wine tasting daily in the lobby accompanied by a few appetizers. This was nice. Parking is $15/day. I wish I would have stayed across the street.

This is the place to have a beautiful garden wedding. The staff and food were amazing. The hotel suite is beautiful, clean and we loved the patio. Becky S., the event manager helped make my daughter’s dream wedding come true. Thank you to everyone!!!!

For starters this hotel is not in Sonoma, it is in Santa Rosa so it's not in wine country. That was a bit misleading. We also encountered a fire alarm the first night that went off at 9:30pm evacuating the entire hotel, which was not their fault but we had to hear from the fire fighter that it was ok to go in and not the hotel staff. I went to ask for a non-feather pillow as I am allergic and 30 minutes later was delivered the "only" foam pillow in the entire hotel. That's hard to believe and unfortunate if this is true. Our phone did not work and we asked for a replacement which did not happen. We also did not have housekeeping turn our room. We exclusively stay at Hyatt properties as we are world Hyatt members and this was disappointing at the very least. We will avoid this property and am questioning how they determine the different tiers of Hyatt's since most Regency's live up to their names.

I never leave reviews but this hotel is so bad I just have to. From the front desk staff being rude, to my bedsheets smelling like mildew, to paying too much for parking and having keys that would open the gate no matter how many new keys they issued me. To the rude bar staff that shut down early on Saturday night during the summer which is ridiculous if anybody wants to make any money with paying guests. The cleaning crew will talk loudly very early in the morning both days we were there disrupting our sleep being in the way when you walk down the hallways etc. I would not recommend this hotel I would find someplace cheaper and with happier staff.

Beautiful hotel, heated pool, great staff. Unless you are a member of Hyatt the price for breakfast is laughable. Enjoy the city and eat elsewhere. Loved the central courtyard & fire pit with the bar nearby after a busy day.
