This place. Wow. Great service, food was worth me bothering to leave a review. I had chicken fried steak and arugula salad (I am not making this up)And Julie had huevos rancheros. The steak was crispy and good. The h. rancheros had tons of cilantro; I tried a bite of hers. Really liked this place. Coffee is nothing to write home about, but serviceable. If you are hungry go here.
I Really hate to do this but, the food was HORRIBLE!! So bad that I will not go back, AS soon as I took a bite I knew I was going to have heart burn, to much Chilli powder no other seasonings, potatoes were bland, the only reason I ate it is cause I paid for it and I was hungry! It was so bad it hurt my feelings! And I did not get my daughter's fruit, the waitress never told me it was in the coffee cup, and the lid had stuff on it so that's another reason I did not grab it!!
Guy and I will have to disagree here! I planned a roat trip around his recommendation. The corned Beef Hash was dry and salty. The "sourdough" toast tasted like Sarah Lee. I was very disappointed.However my guest said the huevos Rancheros were good (a bit spicy). Too loud and crowded for any kind of conversation.
Highly recommend this place if your Santa Rosa. I ordered some pancakes, sauages, with eggs. Seem fresh and everyone was happy with their order. Will definitely come back when im here santa rosa.
The service is great and so is the food. It's pretty small and loud inside. Try to get a table next to the windows so you can see the creek, sometimes you can catch a squirrel scurrying, it's a great view.Even though the restaurant was full our food came out within 15 minutes, maybe less. The crab cake benedict was excellent. I had the walnut french toast, not bad however the bread is quite dense, I was satisfied however prefer a lighter french toast.It's good to see they're grinding whole bean coffee right when it's time to brew a fresh pot; much better coffee than the pre-ground stuff.To my amazement Hanks was actually cheaper for breakfast than the IHOP was (right across the street).Don't go to ihop you'll be glad you went to Hanks and got quality food and spent less money.
First time here. Angela is amazing! Her smile just lights up a room. Food and service amazing! Ordered the corned beef hash with arugula salad. So good Perfect! Perfect size portions! Bisquit was great and they give you lots of honey! Will definitely come back!

Great little restaurant. Learned of it thru Triple D. Excellent for breakfast. Staff very friendly. We checked in and were told there was a 20 minute wait. Then they called us in after five minutes! Fast food service. Rare restaurant that actually sells V-8. I had the blueberry pancake special. Cakes were perfect and had large tasty berries. Eggs & bacon just right. Wife had the corned beef hash which was also very good. Highly recommend.
Nice little breakfast place on highway 12. Place was crowded early so you knew the place was good. Good was very good and the servers were very nice
The waitress is psychic! Last two visits she guessed what I wanted for breakfast! The food is phenomenal! Would recommend to everyone who will listen.
