The location of this place is confusing. It says "Japanese Restaurant in Whole Foods". There is a small area dedicated to two ladies rolling sushi, and some boxed up sushi, but I didn't see a restaurant. I asked the Whole Foods staff and no one knew of a restaurant. The boxed sushi was great, and it's convenient inside Coddingtown Whole Foods near the bakery in the back of the store.
This spot is worth a try. They have big portions for reasonable rates. Always clean and with great mood. Will visit here again.
Would absolutely recommend trying this spot. Excellent mood, yummy dishes, awesome customer service. They never disappoint.
japanese food and the setting at this place is great. Don't worry if it's busy, it is worth the wait. The service was very helpful and observant. Prices were decent.
japanese food, super satisfying. came in on a weds. the service here is above par. the bill was fair for the quality of the food.

After the big takeover, there are more and more in-your-face Amazon promotions that kind of spoil the old friendly and personal neighborhood feel this store used to have. One voice speaking...I could do without the PRI-ME everything everywhere with the signage and promotions. I'm there to buy food, do I have to be inundated with marketing and advertising for the behemoth.
While visiting on vacation I wanted something light, fresh, and good. Stopped in here and was pleasantly surprised. Fill our your custom burrito or taco ingredients and hand it to the server. Then they make it to order right in front of you. You can see the fresh ingredients. They will then warm it and time to eat. The pork burrito was filled with tender pork and very good. A great place to stop for a quick bite.
My family has loved the cakes I've purchased at this store. I must confess that I do most of my personal grocery shopping at Safeway and Target. When I want something special to eat, I turn to Whole Foods, which I know well from my years of living in Austin, Texas, where this chain started. If you're thirsty from a hot day in Santa Rosa, there's a tap room for craft brews on draft. If you're hungry, try the cafe.
Whether you choose from the various food bars, or from the refrigerated section, you can always find a good selection of healthy food. I'm usually there around lunch time. As I think most people with agree, it's a little more expensive, but I do think you get what you pay for!
