The beet salad was amazing! Will order again, but possibly just that. Kartoffel puffer was oddly bland despite visible seasoning (paprika maybe?) The pretzel was yummy, but we didn't like either of the sauces that came with it - yellow mustard and some kind of red pepper tapenade (eww). The spinach pizza was decent though my husband was disappointed how thin the crust was. The kasespetzle - which was what I really wanted and our actual reason for ordering from here, was really disappointing - there was some kind of fresh herb (dill maybe?) in it completely overwhelming the very mild cheese flavor. It had soft grilled onions rather than crispy, and while I've had it both ways in Bavaria I have a personal preference for crispy. Might order plain spaetzle in future if I'm feeling too lazy to make my own, and add my own cheese and onions for a more traditional kasespetzle flavor. Putting dill in kasespetzle is like putting rosemary in Mac&cheese - sure, there's a time and place for that, but it's a very different flavor and not at all what I wanted or expected!

I ate here for the first time tonight during Sonoma restaurant week, and I'm glad I did. Authentic German food along with very good service. The salad with beets was great as was the schnitzel; large portions. I haven't seen a restaurant this busy in a long time.

Wunderbar!!!!Wonderfully authentic German food. Staff is warm and friendly. Even the menu is fun. If you are looking for a true European dining experience-go to Franchetti’s.

A lovely restaurant, with excellent food. We have not been disappointed here. Thank you to Gabby for exceptional service, and for making every visit a special one.

Great experience, yummy schnitzel and fantastic service. If you're in the mood to try something that is not California Cuisine, which is what Sonoma County has so much of, this is where you should go.

EXCELLENT!!! Wished we would have found this place long ago! GREAT food, AWESOME staff, we will be back! I served in the US Army in Germany in the early 80’s, very authentic food! Took me right back to the Schutzenhaus and the Imbiss Stand in Giessen! THANK YOU!

There is nothing authentic about food here. The closest thing to German food is patato salad.Chicken schnitzel my daughter ordered arrived black and that after waiter apologized that her food would be late since they redoing it.They did no such thing. Only delivered it blackened with a minute of delayMy Wiener schnitzel had nothing in common with veal based meal of that name. Do not make this mistake.Fries where good.Only place in Bay Are where they charge you $2 for tap water.I would suggest to avoid it.

Great atmosphere and amazing food. Hubby and I had the mushroom pizza and a sausage plate. Everything was super delicious! And our server was the best! She was friendly and super knowledgeable about the menu. Would recommend!

Hidden gem-Tucked behind a busy street. This restaurant is perfect for breakfast or brunch.I ordered - Bauernfrühstück Or call it a Hash fingerling and sweet potatoes, roasted carrots, bell peppers, sweet roasted onions, mushrooms and Spinach, one egg sunny side up! ADD corned beef, chicken, bacon, mozzarella $1each.I have to admit that the food was plated well and it was delicious. It had a little bit of everything with every bite.Great place for going solo or with your crew.

I had lunch there again today and it was great just like the last time. The outdoor seating area has improved dramatically. It is now covered and protected from the elements. There are those nice outdoor heaters for the cool days and nights.I had the meatball sandwich (couldn’t pronounce the name on the menu) that was delicious.I’ll be going back!
