We stayed in 523 and this room, though renovated, was not very nice. Very superficial improvements, bed uncomfortable and broken bathroom fixtures. Hotel staff are great and communal areas lots of fun.
Beautiful gardens, great pool, and friendly staff. The evening entertainment was a nice surprise. Centrally located in Sonoma County. There is plenty of chairs for everyone in the pool area, the outside areas have great little surprises, such as little seating vignettes, chair swing...
Our room was very cute and comfortable. The property was lovely to hangout at. The pool is fantastic. The walls of the rooms are a little thin and hallway carpet could use an update. I would definitely stay again!
We recently stayed at the Flamingo Resort with 8 other family members. It met our expectations and we had a good time spending time with everyone. We especially enjoyed time at the pool which is very large and has a huge shallow area that is perfect for young children. It is a fun place but you need to be prepared for lots of activity and young children. Probably not the choice for a quiet, relaxing stay. Was pleasantly surprised with the food. We had two meals there as well as poolside eating and all the food was very good and reasonably priced.
For the price of the resort, the amenities and offerings were lackluster. Rooms weren’t anything to be wowed by and smelled like old smoke when we came into the room. Thank god we got a discount because we were part of a wedding block.
Fun stay! We had a great time at the pool, which was a wonderful temperature. In addition, we had dinner at the restaurant, and we were so surprised, the food was great, well presented and the portion size was perfect.
We had an amazing stay at the Flamingo Resort! Great staff, great amenities, great food! Went with hubby and 2 kids and we all loved it. Would be great if the hotel had a mini store though, just with essentials like water, snacks, and the such. We will definitely be staying again!
I would recommend this hotel. It is family and pet friendly. The restaurant could us better service and increase menu options. The pool is very nice but the jacuzzi is not restricted by age so there are many small children in the jacuzzi. This should be for adults only.
Friendly staff. Good food, good coffee. Great to have the lap pool that is just past the main pool and outside the gates and part of the Montecito Hills Club. Enjoyed a yoga class with Baddoura in the "Studio" which is a short walk past the parking lot in small quiet retail center. it would be nice if the hotel had bikes to rent to tool around Santa Rosa. I thought about renting from a local shop, but didn't get around to it. I definitely would come back to the Flamingo Resort in Santa Rosa.
The room is not updated 100%. They upgraded the bathroom, room partition, bedding linens. The doors, wall, baseboard, and carpet were aged. The pool area is nice with 3ft-9th pool. Kids enjoyed the pool a lot. I waited forever for the server to take my order, but never came. Other servers came by and told me a few times that my server will come. She never did. I ended up going to the bar and ordered coffee to go instead of having a full breakfast. No pool towels between 9pm-10pm. Pool closes at 10pm so I asked for some towels only to never come. Walked back to my room soak and dripping. ☹️ I don’t think I’ll be back.
