It was very cold in the restaurant
Wed thru Sunday is the best time to be there. Monday and Tuesday not enough help and blond bar person dismissed us as we were trying to find out where to sit. Wednesday help of young people was much better experience especially Austin. A few more vegetarian items should be added to lunch as there was only salad and a veggie burger with cashews in which a lot of people are allergic too. We would of eaten there more if those items were added.
There are not enough servers & too many customers. Drinks are way over priced. Food takes too long to come out & when it does itâs luke warm. Very disappointed. First time here was enjoyable last few times not at all. We will not be back. Was planning on having a high school reunion here but will rethink it.

Service and hospitality at this restaurant is nonexistent. My family and I were staying at the attached hotel overnight. We attempted to have dinner at the restaurant around 7:45pm and we were told that we could not sit down because we didnât make a reservation and they werenât accepting any new tables that evening. We looked online at opentable, only to see that there were reservations available at 8pm, 8:15pm, and 8:30pm. We asked if we should make a reservation, but were told that the server âdidnât want to take any more tablesâ and that they wouldnât serve us. The restaurant was busy and we explained that we are patient and wouldnât mind waiting, but we were still turned away. After a long day of driving, it is really unfortunate that the restaurant at our hotel wouldnât accommodate us for a quick dinner, simply because the server didnât want to take us. We ended up driving around town for a while trying to find a decent place to eat that was still open after 8pm.
Love ambience, food and wait staff. This is why I returned with guests despite a terrible interaction/poor service from the hostess the first time I visited. Outdoor seating is great by the pool- you feel more like youâre on vacation. Something needs to be done about the unprofessionalism of the hostess and hostess stand. The only improvement in the host situation this second time around was that my reservation was in the system and we were seated outside as reserved once we were helped. We only received service from the hosts after we were told to wait and did so past our reservation time (it was at 5pm for outside seating) and then checked in with the friendly bartender who helped get them to assist us.

We were excited about going to the restaurant at the Flamingo Hotel because we had heard the mid century decor was fun. However the shortage of staffing cause very long wait at reception and for food. The food was just ok and items we had asked for were missed⦠probably because they were so short staffed. Prices were great but it took 1.5 hours to have a very simple meal.
Theyâre done a beautiful job with renovations. The food was delicious (especially dessert). Our server was pleasant and professional. We happened to go on a weekend night and sat outside. The pool area was quite busy/noisy-lots of children. We loved that theyâre dog friendly.
Great setting. Pretty good service. Food was disappointing. We were unhappy with our meals. Very limited menu. Would not return.
