Checked in to Hotel E which was easy Night staff were good. Coffee maker in room intermittently worked. Third floor room over looked a loading zone so lots of early early morning noise. That morning taking a shower, the privacy door hanger on my door and I hear someone enter my room ! I yelled out Hey and I hear a male voice say sorry and leave the room. I was really shook up and called downstairs and No on picked up. I called again and the bar tender picked up and I told him what happened. He said yes sorry the maintenance man was really shook up ! The maintenance man !!! I cleaned up, packed my bag and checked out. Neither the front desk woman or the bartender said anything. I would give this place a miss.

This was an amazing place to stay. Easy distance from wineries, hiking and great food. The hotel staff was simply amazing and the room and amenities were great. There was a lovely market in the square on Saturdays. Highly recommend a stay here if in Santa Rosa.

Words fail to describe the amazing experience we had in this hotel. The staff were truly amazing, the kind night receptionist who welcomed ids, the two ladies on reception who worked tirelessly on our behalf, the valet team headed by a kind, informative and lovely man. We had a bad experience on the highway and had a lot of issues to be worked out with the rental company. The staff literally adopted us, allowed us to take over a phone access at reception, spoke to the rental company etc etc. Such a welcome , such competency and efficiency , we cannot rate this hotel highly enough. This is all before Zi even mention mention the beautiful, spotless decor, wonderful rooms and toiletries, free coffee in lobby and a coffee machine in the room. S very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom added the fun as l touches. I can’t wait to come back and it will be my go to place in California whenever I make my next trip . Take a bow , this is real hospitality, service and humanity.

We recently stayed at Hotel E and I recommend it most highly. It’s a beautiful space with old world charm plus all the updates of the modern age. Entry, lobby, hallways and rooms are a beautiful, serene décor in light earth tones and spotlessly clean. The lobby bar is most enjoyable especially when something fun is going on across the small lane in Courthouse Square and Park. Rooms are on the small side but ours was perfect for a couple + a dog, which they accept for a small fee. And with the park across the street, there is no problem getting a non-leash-pooping dog to do his business. Take your pick-up bags, there are plenty of trash receptacles. The location is amazing with dozens of restaurants at your doorstep and less than a mile from the hospital which was the reason we were there. However, above all this loveliness is the amazing staff. Carmen and Tiffany are two standouts who did everything possible to go above and beyond expectations, including ensuring our car would be at the front door at 5:15am! I am Guest Services Director for a boutique hotel in Eureka California and if any of the staff would like to relocate, I’d hire them in a heartbeat! Do yourself a favor and stay at the Hotel E when you visit Santa Rosa, or hell, if you live there, go for a night of dining out and the Wednesday Night Market and Music on the Square.

When we checked , we were not told that we needed to request cleaning service. So when we discovered the following day that our room was not made up, we asked why and were told we didn't request it. When we told the front desk person we weren't told about this, she said "oh well the girl is brand new"... We were then assured the room would be made up the following day. And we double-checked again this morning to be assured that the room would be clean when we got back. So when we get back to the hotel at 245p, the room is not clean. We tell this to Aaron at the front desk who acted if its no big deal. The way he dismissed this was beyond rude. And when we ask the maid about why she didn't clean the room, she says she was never told to clean it. Absolutely incredible! For the money we are paying to stay here, the service (other than the valet) has been terrible. We have 4 more nights here!

We stumbled across this hotel by accident when we were planning our week-long trip to wine country. We needed to be able to book 3 rooms for three couples. We were so happy with this choice. The staff is stellar... very kind people and very helpful. There is a lovely wine bar in the lobby, and the lobby is large enough with several seating areas that can accommodate a lot of people if you just want to socialize or enjoy some wine. The valet was incredibly helpful in getting us in and out even when there were events happening in the Square in front of the hotel. He also made excellent recommendations on places to go. The rooms are small but very well appointed and very clean. The staff will go out of their way to help you with anything you need. And you are right there in the middle of downtown Santa Rosa with wonderful restaurants and bars all around you, easy walking. Driving to either Napa or the Russian River Valley is a breeze. And the drives are lovely. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We have definitely found our new “home base” in Sonoma county.

This hotel was very beautiful! The bed and pillows were comfortable, the bathroom was a good size. It's not a huge room, but it didn't need to be, we weren't spending all of our time in there! But plenty of room for 2 people to get ready for a wedding. The staff was top notch!! I have traveled all over and this staff was very friendly, and went above and beyond for us many times. They gave us wonderful recommendations on places to visit, places to eat, and even helped us with booking a wine tasting for a large group. I couldn't have been happier.

We have stayed here various times and love it. Always impressed with the staff, location and room. No question this is our go to place to stay while in Santa Rosa. The location is also one where walking to restaurants is super convenient.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Nice modern appeal, but in a beautifully historic building that I believe is over 100 years old and was a bank at some point. Employees were very kind and inviting. Everything was walkable.

Love this place. Rooms are impeccably furnished, great linens and pillows. Super helpful and friendly staff - it's my go-to place in Santa Rosa. Shireen has always been very helpful, and on my most recent stay, Ray was terrific. Great place, and a great value.
