My go-to place for sushi in this area. I have recommended all my friends here. Bluefish is always consistent in quality and taste. Highly recommend: the chirashi bowl, sashimi salad, all their boats, the crazy dragon roll, bluefish roll, and scallop roll.

We ordered and picked it up. We had just returned from a long stay in Japan, thus we want to be fair. Japanese food must be honored by the Sushi Chef, which is not easy when you’re in a strip mall in Santa Rosa, but their chef needs to up his game. The Tuna seemed like it had been frozen. Though it’s required at times, but this Tuna seemed like it may have been frozen twice! We know you can’t match Japan sushi in Japan, but work at being as good as Hatsuhana maybe?

My nephew who lives here suggested this small Japanese restaurant and with our party of 8 we got to try several different sushi rolls and tempura and beef teriyaki. Everything was so tasty! The beef teriyaki was so tender and flavorful and the shrimp and vegetable tempura was light and crunchy. The sushi was fresh and while I enjoyed a bite of several different ones the yum roll with crispy rice on the bottom was my favorite. Good service amd reasonable prices too. For those who have trouble deciding or are in a small group the menu offers some combos where you can have a bit of sushi, tempura and teriyaki. They also have a kids menu Highly recommend

Super place to meet and chat with coworkers. The service was very helpful and observant. Prices that are reasonable.
