Decent food, but consistently too busy to have an enjoyable experience. Each time I go, I almost always feel rushed the entire time, I never really get to order the stuff I want in between. I don't fault the service staff for this, they are trying their best to keep up with a seemingly endless wave of people. This last time I was informed that Happy hour is only for drinks at the bar, and I would not qualify because I am at a table. I shrugged this off, but in hind sight, it is kind of difficult to shake the feeling that I was getting scammed. So, I checked their website and it confirms this for bar and patio only. Seems kind of shady and deceptive.. but alright. If you are looking for a place to leisurely enjoy a meal and have a few drinks, I recommend going elsewhere. The food and drinks are good/decent, but -2 for constantly feeling like I am being rushed out. And -1 for Happy hour only being allowed for "the bar and patio".
I think we have given them their last chance! We waited to be seated and brought it to their attention when they took a couple that just walked in and seated them without adding to the list. When we were finally seated, we walked past many empty tables to a tiny booth near the bathroom. Waitress came to the table fairly quickly, took our drink order and appetizers and informed us they were out of calamari. Okay, took our dinner order. Took a few minutes brought back my drink. We had to ask again for my husband's beer. They then brought our soup and salad. But no appetizer? Waitress assured us she has been looking for it and it wasn't up yet. Then no sooner had we had our soup and salad, our dinner was delivered. Again had to ask about the appetizer. Oh she will go look for it. Had to ask for the toppings for baked potato. They put sour cream and butter together in a tiny cup. Had to ask for Horseradish and was told they probably don't have any. She went back and finally found our appetizer. Now on to the food, calamari chowder was horrible, ordered medium rare prime rib, was very rare, asparagus was over seasoned. She found a bottle of Horseradish and did bring it to the table. The avocado rolls had something spicy in them, Waitress took them back and informed us she had talked to the person that made them earlier in the day and basically called us liars that they weren't spicy. They removed them from our bill. We got our dessert to go and my churros were old and inedible. Never again!
After securing a business deal, my supervisor took our team to BJ's for lunch. It was a great choice. The restaurant is extraordinary. The luxurious ambiance, great food and service, made a special occasion an even more memorable one.
This place has gotten a lot better over the years and their menu has improved a lot.The food and drinks are usually great. The service could use some work, though.
Update: We came back a week later to give it another shot and were very impressed. Our server Danielle, was extremely helpful and fast, and the food was very good. Definitely would’ve been a five star rating if the first situation hadn’t happened. Was seated right away, and then proceeded to sit and wait for 40+ minutes with no service. The server acknowledged us and sorry as he walked by us early on but never offered to get us drinks. Meanwhile we watched him serve three separate tables that arrived 15+ minutes after us.
Just went here last night and got the Parmesan crusted chicken with cheese mashed taters and broccoli! It was delicious
Tyler was the greatest employee ever! He literally put in the work more than our server did! THANK GOODNESS FOR TYLER!! Please dont underestimate this man he left us a great experience to our last minute dinner plans!!! Thanks Tyler if you're reading this, We had a great time!
Service is excellent! It was my first time I was impressed about the waitress Casedy was amazing very professional knowledgeable about all the menu served at the restaurant THANK you good job you will see more often.
Long wait time when clearly there are tables available. I gave you another opportunity. Failed! The waitress was friendly, got good tip. Food quality went down especially for $25+ entrees. Previously, I’ve had to walk out after being seated for an hour. No refill, no attention, no food. Truly disappointing considering I was a frequent regular. At the bar w friends, group meetings, and date nights.
They were out of ingredients to make our first choices so I ordered their jambalaya although there was a generous amount of shrimp and sausage the powdered seasoning was thick throughout the dish. Very over powering and made the meal Uneatable and this was a 24 dollar meal! my wife’s Santa Fe chicken salad was mostly lettuce for 18 dollars won’t go back On a good note the drink was good
