Pastrami was a little dull, and service a bit slow but in a convenient spot if you want deli food
Very good quality bagel shop.Bagels are amazing, crunchy and chewy. Pastrami of both beef and turkey are top.Prices are slightly high despite the quality.Service is excellent.
I really hadn’t had pastrami until Wexler’s DTLA a few years back.
overpriced mediocrity with a side of incredibly unnecessary bad attitude. I will never spend another cent there. PLENTY of other BETTER options in town
Best matzo ball soup I’ve ever had. So fresh and my sandwich was delicious and not skimpy with the meat. Potato salad was perfect ratio of Mayo and potatoes. Can’t wait to go back again.
It's pricy but the attention to detail the owners put into the smoked fish makes it shine. The lox, sturgeon , trout etc is amazing. The matzoh ball soup is incredible. They really know what they're doing. Keep in mind that along with all of this labor Santa Monica rents aren't cheap. This is a Jewish deli on steroids
Had the OG, it was pretty tastey, but it was $22 after tax. If I handed you this sandwich you probably would have thought I bought it for $6 - it's just pastrami, mustard, and untoasted rye bread (although you would be surprised how good it is)If it were $8-$13 I'd be there all the time, but at $22 doesn't seem like they're looking for repeat customers
Gran desayuno
Good sandwiches. Turkey was fresh and good quality. Was exactly what I wanted for lunch. I'm sure other items are well made
Positives: Ruben and Smoked SturgeonNegatives: big poppaThe big poppa was awful. I saw beautiful photos on yelp of fluffy egg and cheese on Yelp This egg…it was thin crispy layers of the egg, it tasted like the edges you scrape from a pan, and it was layers of that to make the egg. Coffee is eh.The smoked sturgeon is excellent. Their smoking is very unique and delicious. It is quite expensive though. I wish the smoking items were more affordable. They even have a whole smoked turkey option for thanksgiving which would be incredible I’m sure. The Ruben was very unique, I think I could taste some vinegar to the onions which I enjoyed and so yummy!
