Is as unique a place as it's name! Bartender Rene was very attentive and great customer service. Decor is eclectic, artwork, nick knacks, clowns (owner was a clown "weary"). Food can be ordered from Restaurants nearby with great food. Extremely unique, curiosities, with weekly art shows and black padded walls (sound deadening?). Worth a look, highly recommend.
My husband and I were visiting from Minnesota and stopped here one night and fell in love with this place. We made sure to return as frequently as we could before we flew back home. I loved the vibe here and their cocktails are 2nd to none. Have the Pain Killerrr!! Brian is an excellent bartender that will accommodate most requests. This place is a MUST stop. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants yummy drinks in Santa Monica. 10/10 must see.
I randomly came across the Weary Livers and what caught my eye to come in was the creative decor. In comparison to other bars, I love how this one is very unique, fun, and great vibes all around. I was welcomed in by the nicest staff and immediately felt right at home. I had to the opportunity to get to know the bartender and the owner- both down to earth, professional, and had a passion for what they do. You can tell they really know hospitality and how to treat their guests with the best service. I definitely will be coming back. Thanks again you guys!
Awesome bar! Has such a cool and eerie vibe to it! The hanging Skelton adds a cool little pizazz to the bar! Drinks are amazing and well-crafted!! I WILL be coming back!

Visited during their soft opening only but is now officially opened. This is a new business that is literally opening their doors to the neighborhood as they are earning their space as folks who have never lived in SoCal.They kept a significant amount of decor from the previous owner so locals will find comfort in consistency. They mentioned they put the effort into adding some arbitrary "asian" art to link to their featured soju shelf... sure.Despite this lack of intention in curating the kitschy Victorian-heavy space. They're good people. And they are more than happy to take your input.They have pain killers!
Awesome new hidden gem in LA! Shuffle board, beer, Soju cocktails, good music and a Victorian/eclectic ambiance make this a perfect night out on LA’s West side. Both bartenders are great. There’s also free parking behind the building. You definitely need to check this out and show them some love! Get the hard horchata, it’s amazing.
Great atmosphere, cool bartenders and awesome cocktails. Love the Pain Killer so much that I just took a $20 Uber here to get one.
