Over priced, $30 for appetizers is crazy!
We had returned to Via around Christmas time this past year and it brought back such special memories. For whatever reason it had been many years since we had enjoyed an evening. We had been frequenting this establishment for over 20 years and for whatever reason, we had stopped. So the location for Saturday was easy as we had to get our son at the airport. I am so glad we returned and we will continue to return, except more often. I could go on and on about all sorts of details, all positive, but I just wanted to express my overall experience. The restaurant is such a comfortable environment, the waitstaff are totally professional, the quality of the food is outstanding, and as always, Via delivers and makes for a great evening. Today so many restaurants in lA are expensive and you receive mediocre service and food, and especially post pandemic, that seems more the norm. Via is not inexpensive, but compared to what you receive at other restaurants, you are truly receiving what you pay for. We are glad that they have survived the last few year, as so many have failed, and we have rekindled our Via experience and we shall continue to return. It is a wonderful experience. Enjoy!!!
Food was delicious and service excellent
We enjoyed our appetizers of meat balls and calamari. The marinara sauce on the meatballs was exceptional and highly recommend this appetizer. However, the main courses were mediocre at best. I wish I could give a better review, but honestly, was not impressed at all. Our experience was disappointing and costly.
Unbelievably expensive. Very small portions. Food was good but not worth the price. Service was on poor side. I wouldnât go. Ack. Too many other great places in the area.
Excelent food well done for Michelin star
One of our favorite restaurants. We always dine here when in Santa Monica since you he year it opens. We have always enjoyed our evening every time and recommend it regularly!!
