one of a few place offer good acai bowl in the area. The highlight of the acai bowl is the bee pollen , that waa sprinkle on top of everything else , like coconut, granola, fruits, acai smoothie.i like the seasoning of the poach egg, taste even better with the pickled onion. The avocado toast taste good overall.edit: ordered dragon immunity bowl on another day, more water content from the dragonfruit. love the granola.

I believe the Hive is known for it's bowls, but this review is based on their avocado toast. I was a bit underwhelmed by the size of the toast - it was quite a bit smaller than I expected. However it did taste great, especially with the added poached egg on top. The bowls looked great, which I would have to try the next time I come. The jasmine green tea tasted a but watered down unfortunately. Overall, the prices were pretty high ($14 for the avocado toast with egg, $5 for a small tea).
Will be back soon! Picked up a treat for a friend and it smelled incredible inside. I have been craving the delicious smoothie I got (Green Hornet, sun apple juice for in-house made no sugar added almond milk) since and can’t wait to return to try the food. Staff member was super friendly and helpful!

Got the immunity bone broth and the classic acia bowl and they both did not disappoint.Feeling drained from the week we needed a clean pick me up. The bone broth was an instant soul and body soother. It truly rejuvenated me. The acia bowl was prepared very well and good clean taste.
This place doesn’t rate as high for me. Smoothies are expensive and a bit mediocre compared to others I’ve had in the area. Staff is always friendly though and you can count on it for a healthy nourishment.

After having a pretty early breakfast and chilling on the beach I wanted a hot beverage. I really was craving a coffee but I‘m not drinking it at the moment so I searched for places serving Turmeric lattes and the Hive was the first option. Checked out the menu online and sure enough they had a turmeric drink called the Golden Latte. The drink includes turmeric, cinnamon, honey, almond milk, and pepper for $4.95.In addition to teas and coffees you can purchase some healthy bites at reasonable prices and dine in our out, they also accept to go orders.It’s a really cute café and I love the outside seating area, perfect for people watching. The service was pretty good! There was a little mix up with my order, I ordered a Golden Latte but was given a Pumpkin Spice Latte, the two drinks don’t sound alike but I’m sure the person had trouble hearing me through my mask. Any way no hassle at all, the correct order was made and I was offered the pumpkin latte also but I passed since I’m not drinking coffee and was dining solo. ?Unfortunately I wasn’t a fan of the latte; so far no luck finding a decent turmeric latte in the L.A. area. It wasn’t flavorful and had a strange taste. I hate wasting money so I finished as much as I could while sitting outside enjoying the perfect fall weather.
There were maybe two customers in the shop, yet the two smoothies I ordered to-go took a long 15min to make m. I also found a plastic shard (see photo) near the bottom of my drink and almost choked on it. The smoothies itself tasted meh wasn’t worth $11-13 price tag in my opinion. Two stars not 1 because the girl working there was friendly..
