The only spot in a block that had food late, a girl needed the mozzarella sticks and the Buffalo wings. I loved the James Dean wall and the environment in General was very casual and laid back. Great for a date night after a long day at the beach.
The people who work there were great. The vibe and drinks were dope. Definitely will go back when back in town
Great place to chill, plenty of drink choices. Had a vegetarian burger, very tasty! Tried some of their pickle juice...interesting. the best part about being here was the tunes! Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Should you find yourself in LA alone on a trip and want a decently priced meal with some ambiance but without much fanfare this is an excellent choice. The burger was a good quality but the 90s rock is even better.
Update: you don't have to be so salty about a negative review. Why do people from this area give such high stars for places with a lack of quality? We came here for a drink and the margarita is sooo salty. I like salty but I think instead of ice they used a salt cube....ok they didn't use a salt cube, they used ocean water. Like seriously it's sooo salty. The red lighting is a bit overwhelming to the point I couldn't even see the bill. I would not recommend this place. I will say though, service is quite attentive.
I loved this place the moment I heard the music playing from across the street. Such a fun, welcoming environment. Feels like a true down home bar/burger place where the people know you by name and everyone is welcome (think Cheers in a more upscale light. . . Same vibe, more class ?). Dami and Chris where absolutely amazing. So glad I found this place!
Friendly inclusive pub with alternative 80’s, 90’s and onwards music playing on tv screens, with some basketball games on too. Nice bar food, reasonable prices, lovely staff on the door, taking table orders and at the bar. We went three out of five nights. Causal dress code but need ID as expected everywhere. Ages over 21yr, but we were a couple in our late 40’s not up for clubbing but wanted late drinks. Not the oldest people in the bar but mostly people in their late twenties/early thirties, crowd of friends and couples. Relaxed atmosphere with no trouble inside or out. Loved this place and if we come back to Santa Monica willorder our first pint here…
Excellent bar with a relaxed atmosphere, playing alternative 80’s, 90’s and later music. No trouble getting in as the door staff were welcoming. No trouble inside, laid back casual dress code. Fair price drinks and food burgers/bar snacks etc. We enjoyed The Craftsman so much we went three nights out of five. Ages from 21yrs up, but appealed to us as we are not into clubbing (couple late 40’s) but wanted something lively. Mostly late 20’s and early 30’s couples and groups. Inclusive of all people/genders promoted. Big screen TV with music videos and some basketball games on. There are stools and bar tables around the outside, two big seating areas in the middle, plus a PacMan gaming table for two. An outside patio accessible from inside. There is also a photo booth. You can get table service or sit at the bar. Dogs welcomed on leads. They have a dog charity cocktail which had to buy a few. Happy to recommend.
Nice bar with a lively crowd. Just a block away to walk from my hotel
Cool place with a good vibe, nice music and an eclectic clientele, but would be a good spot for anybody. Good service.
