This is one of our favorite breakfast place. Everything on the menu is full of flavor and the atmosphere is really great especially with those outside seats. Coffee is kind of dark roast and it is still pretty good. There are always ling line but it goes pretty quick.
I should have learnt my lesson the 1st time . Overall the food and the coffee does taste good however the problem that I find is that it isn't the high prices I would expect that in Los Angeles it's that they don't really give you the value for the amount of money that you pay for compared to the Size of the meal. They also include a bunch of surcharges to your meal and still ask for another tip on top of that which it is obviously just hiding a service charge. Once again I have no problem with tipping I do everywhere however if you're going to service charge me then that is the exact same thing.Honestly this place has just more become a victim of a LA hype up and insta clout. It's an OK place but just realize that you're going to be paying extremely high prices for something that really shouldn't be charged at that amount.
Great spot for a quality breakfast in a unique setting…definitely recommend the pastries and cold brew. Also, be sure to check out their outdoor patio!
Everything here is amazing! I didn't really know how a tartine could be so good because it's just stuff on top of toast, but it was phenomenal. The scone and croissant are also incredible. I will need to come back to explore more of the menu. Lots of outdoor seating and dog friendly!
Clean and simple space. The building is interesting, and feels like a historic building structure while being modern. Plenty of cafe/bakery options. We got the honey bun, and it hit the spot. There is a parking lot with 45 min validation with purchase just north of the cafe. Fresh air patio that is dog friendly!
First off, if you want a cool place for IG, this is definitely it. The inside and furnishing is beautiful and in the morning, the lighting hits just right. The food definitely matches the vibe. I ordered the smoked salmon toast and the flavors were interesting! Not in a bad or weird way but in a sense that you get expected savory feeling from the salmon and house made cream cheese, and a touch of sweetness from whatever these little seed looking things were. That was a easy 10 out of 10. We also ordered a turkey sandwhich with avocado; which was good but what more can you do to a turkey sandwhich? This place is definitely worth checking out. The menu is small to keep the quality on point. But I think regulars go there for the coffee and pastries. Those two things can be a whole other review! I loved the cold brew and the cappuccino had a hard kick to it.I would've gave this 5 stars if the menu was a little more creative like the smoked salmon, but otherwise its near perfect. Dont get me wrong, the sandwiches are all perfect but too safe for my taste.
Great quiche and fresh salad. Tasty coffee with very cute backyard and nice sitting in the sun area. It doesnt have wifi tho
Salad so fresh it had a bug in it and lettuce was dirty. Clearly don't wash their greens and it's very overpriced for what it is. Don't recommend, won't be coming back.
Delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, and friendly service! The coffee is great as well. I recommend the breakfast sandwich, the omelette, and the hand pie ?
2 min walk from Gateway hotel. Amazing light breakfast egg bacon ? avocado sandwich with Mocha Latte's highly recommend!
