Seems like we must have come here at a bad time. Our food had was bland - the California hand roll only had crab meat (no veggies) and the soup was just noodles and broth. The jellyfish was interesting but seemed old. Would recommend going somewhere else. Service was slow but really nice!
A real legit Japanese Izakaya with home style food. The owner is very friendly and so is the staff. The food is delicious, and there's an excellent selection of beer/alcohol. The menu also changes once in a while, but some staples remain. Good vibe.
OMG! Stopped by here because of the good reviews on Yelp. My favorite ? Japanese restaurant. My husband got the chicken curry, and it was very tasty, not too salty, and great curry flavor. I had the salmon bento ? box. I was amazed by the details they put to arranging the different dishes and the salmon, the main protein, was spectacular. I wish this place was closer to where we live.

While not having the usual nigiri or specialty rolls, EVERYTHING they do make is excellent. Small space, with simple and elegant atmosphere. A lovely Japanese restaurant. Very welcoming.
Interesting menu. Very tasty! I'm not qualified to judge authenticity, but everything we had was great. Service was also excellent.
Small, Izakaya with interesting and reasonably priced Japanese share plate style dishes. The server was fantastic, gracefully and efficiently serving the entire dining area by herself. It was packed. Not bad for a Tuesday night. Nice find!
Delicious fresh fish. Tried chicken karage, sashimi, and spicy tuna dip. All delicious. Japanese fare with a unique twist. Good service.
Amazing staff. Tasty sushi. Great service! Highly recommend the salmon hand roll and salmon sashimi. Those were our favorite items! Gyoza was solid. Eggplant dish was good, but we anticipated it being warm/hot dish…just a heads up it is a cold dish! We also ordered the cooked salmon plate…that was not our favorite item, but it was solid. Would recommend exploring their unique menu. Limited outdoor seating (dog friendly), beautiful and plenty of indoor seating. Parking street side or north of Wilshire. Hope to be back soon!!
Not that many choices. Some dishes too salty
