i would stop here on my route every monday before covid, really friendly staff. really miss getting a sandwich from here and then being on my way.
Sometimes the food is expired, but that's because it's a small shop that's locally operated.
You can't call this place a restaurant, it's little more than a snack bar in a room slightly bigger than a phone booth. But if you're in or around St. Johns Hospital and need a quick sandwich or a candy bar, this is your place. The sandwiches are kept in a cooler and I don't know if they make them there or if they are supplied by a vendor, but whoever does it, they do a great job. The bread was fresh, there was generous fillings (mine was turkey) and they cost a fraction of they would be at someplace like an airport.
