Fantastic, melt-in-your-mouth sushi. Dining room is small, and strictly first come / first served. The “trust me” options are the way to go, brought out one plate at a time.
The best sushi - especially the crab roll and lobster roll. The rice isn't gummy and has a nice tang to it from the vinegar, unlike many sushi places and the seaweed retains its crisp texture. Some of the best sushi I've ever had. It is it is pricier than most places and there may be a waitress actually on the weekend very well worth it if you love sushi.
Excellent service and good sushi. I ordered the $55.00 "Don't ask just eat" and loved it. Located along the main street in an area with many dining choices. The food arrived quickly delivered by smiling faces. Highly recommend this place.

Incredible sushi. Some of the best I have ever had at an incredibly reasonable price. You won’t find miso soup or other typical Japanese dishes here. This is a sushi and sashimi restaurant. And you won’t find crazy roll combinations, or California rolls or things like that. It’s old school sushi. It’s all fresh and outstanding. I can’t say I like the cut rolls as well as the pieces of fish were finely chopped inside the roll. The limited specials of sushi and sashimi are rare finds and are very good. The bluefin otoro was amazing. Food is served slowly (not on one big platter), rice is warm and service is great. One other thing-they don’t accept tips. There is a 15% charge on the bill, but that’s it. It’s a small restaurant and it will be crowded.
Had the Nozawa Trust Me menu, and trust me that was excellent! Very friendly and swift staff. The menu was just the right size and all items were really wonderful! I prefer warm edamame but they were still great!
The place is really small, a little bit dark (we have to put on our cells light to read the menu) and crowed. The food is very good. Simple and tasty. Very fresh fish and some type of fish that is not common in other places. Dishes are small and expensive for the amount of food they have

Some of the best sushi in LA. It is simple and pure cuisine. If rainbow and spider rolls are your thing, this isn't the place for those things. Dimly lit at night, get one of the tasting menus. They don't disappoint. It was a memorable dinner. I recommend.
