The light in the women's bathroom automatically turned off when I was in there by myself. THE ROOM WAS SUDDENLY PITCH DARK! VERY SCARY! MUST EVERYTHING IN TODAY'S WORLD BE CONTROLLED BY A TECH-DRIVEN SENSOR? The light suddenly turned again, but people should be able to turn it on or off, not a sensor. I exited the bathroom, and told a female employee.that Starbucks could be liable if someone gets injured in the dark. PUT IN A REGULAR LIGHT SWITCH!
This is my view only. The best Starbucks in the area.Good customer service and good people. Everyone has an opinion and or a gripe but hey just go with the flow. If everything in life is perfect, now that's an imperfection. There's lines everywhere so enjoy your day, have coffee and some munchies and keep smiling. There's always tomorrow and Starbucks will be here.
Outside seating and very nice baristas! Absolutely Love the Santa Monica vibe and energy from the people working here ??
It is rare that I see a staff and management under crippling depression to such a degree that their staff passive aggressively selects patrons to shade on the basis of class while simultaneously aching to receive the wisdom and teaching of those patrons. Starbucks has created worker hell.

I like this Starbucks a lot, but what about that old woman barista angry attitude, she’s kind of ruining down whole cool vibe in there? She makes this whole Starbucks look like a run down McDonald’s in Midwest.
If you ask for Decaf make sure that is what you get

I just had a very unfortunate experience that shows me the people who were working today don’t care for feedback and don’t care about customer service. I ordered a drink that I’ve had several times without cinnamon I picked up my drink took a sip and immediately could taste the cinnamon so I went back and said I never asked for cinnamon and they offered to make me a new one. The girl who made me my new drink probably made it purposely awfully. I took a sip and there was zero coffee in it and only milk it was disgusting. I told them it was bad and she said with an attitude I’ll make it for you one more time I told her that wasn’t necessary and I went and got a refund and left. Put effort in to your job or you’ll get negative reviews like this one.
