I thought this was the best ice cream on the pier!!
Whoever the older man is working there is really rude. A girl asked how much is this candy and the guy said 0.10 cents. She asked how many can I get with a dollar and he answered did you go to school? Do you know basic math? He then proceeded to tell her I’m going to let you figure it out and walked away. The girl looked embarrassed and walked away. In conclusion A: she probably has a learning disorder, B: she probably was considering tax. To top it off he sat there and talked about her while I was there enjoying my drink with the other employees . This really is a soda jerk for sure .
Best milkshake I have had in a long time! Thick and delicious! Very friendly staff. They have odd hours, which are not marked on the service window. The lady working said they are open on the weekends in the winter, but I checked on a Sunday at noon and they were not open yet. Very fair prices!
This place is HORRIBLE. First of all, it said masks inside. But NONE of the workers had masks on. Second of all, my friend and I chose sundaes that were completely different, but we had a literal SAME sundaes. Lastly, the workers took so long to get our sundaes ready, and they even FORGOT one of our orders!! They were not a single person that was waiting than us. It was super expensive. I highly recommend not to have any ice cream/ sundae at this place. I would give 0 stars if I could.Sorry for bad grammar.
It’s hard to find phosphate any longer. This was terrific!
Absolutely recommend. Good quality ice cream with a nice selection of flavors. Sundaes, Banana Boats, and all that good stuff. Very reasonably priced. This is the best "normal" ice cream around.
The kids took me there for Father's Day this year 2020. A lot of crowds considering the state had just opened up after the covid-19 pandemic. Felt very safe and comfortable. The ice cream was great.
Ohhh my goodness, that was good. Taking a self care day at the Pier, and what a find! Ice cream sundaes, banana splits, milkshakes, Italian sodas -- this place has everything, and for a damned good price, especially for such prime real estate on the Pier. I got the La Monica Ballroom, a two scoop sundae: creamy pistachio ice cream with caramel drizzle (OOH, this was magick!) and cool mint and chocolate fudge, a generous sprinkle of nuts, whipped cream, and yes, a cherry on top. I was so excited to try it I kind of cracked into it before remembering to get a pic, heh. Wonderful quality ice cream, nice and creamy, not icey, and the pistachio was nice and chewy without being too much to be a nuisance, just well crafted ice cream. Look for them behind the carousel!
