A fantastic low-key restaurant with truly great food and service. The highlight of the experience was our server David who was incredibly pleasant and attentive. I hope that the restaurant values him because he sure is an asset and bring people back for more.
We stopped in for a bite and were pleasantly surprised, calamari with a crispy light breading and was delicious.On recommendation from our bright and friendly server Alexus we ordered a “Leroy Brown” pizza and it was awesome, so when she recommended the tiramisu for dessert we jumped and it did not disappoint..Food was great and service was outstanding, we will definitely return to Rosti for more.
I like this restaurant and their food but their website makes it IMPOSSIBLE to see their menu easily - it First forces you to set up a time to order for delivery or pickup, enter your info and then and only then can you see their menu. e were trying to find someplace to dine out in about a 15 minute search time. Went somewhere else instead where my partner and I could see the menu in advance. PS I have not found it online anywhere other than their website either. Very frustrating.
Nice selection of meals and overall atmosphere was very welcoming and warm. Choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Complimentary bread while you wait, too. Table was pretty small but they were crowded so understandable. Nice servers.
First time getting take out here because I am such a huge fan of the roast chicken and side dishes and their homemade gnocchi which is second to none in Los Angeles and I always send people here... The first thing that was weird was the price shown online did not match what I was charged when I got there and considering that's Google it's kind of important for that to be consistent since lunch there is usually a little bit less pricey than dinner and stuff was a little bit soggy I'm not going to lie..
Rosti ? the best! Simply the best! Our to go place every week if not every day! Food , service, take out - everything , everything is amazing! We always go there because 1. they never make you wait for a table like other places that trying to imitate they are busy and have 20 empty tables asking for reservations lol 2. FOOD IS BOMB - pizzas, salads. Appetizers, steaks, chicken everything we order always was fresh delicious and waiters are such nice people, and people who help with plates and clean table are also so kind and hard working people respect for all of them! We love Rosti our number 1 choice

I love to support the local restaurant community, but feel obligated to share my poor experience at Rosti Santa Monica. I had dinner here last weekend with a group of friends. We ordered a variety of pasta dishes (pesto, shrimp linguini, tortellini with truffle oil). We all started to feel sick after dinner and a few of us were physically ill. Two of us also found mold on the bread. I believe we all got food poisoning from the meal. We had half of our dishes left and had to throw it out. Food quality aside, the service and atmosphere were completely fine, however, I would still not recommend Rosti.
Ordered the eggplant parmesan and two sides (brussel sprouts and spinach) and all were beautifully prepared. Our party brought two bottles of wine and paid a corking fee. We sat outdoors with heat lamps. A lovely evening with great service!
I don't get the hype, that was the a very bland meatball sub. Good fries at least.
