The staff were fighting with each other, out loud. And then, after I was rudely told to seat myself the waiter pulled my sun-shade away and put it over a different table because "they were there first", which is true, but the manner in which it was dealt with was not cool, at all.
1st time at Pomo burger and we loved it. Fresh tasting food that didn’t leave you feeling that you ate at fast food joint. Ingredients really do make the difference. Everything was great and will come back again.
Excellent, burger. All the ingredients were very fresh. we got the classic Burger with aged cheddar and roast jalapenos. Excellent presentation and the bun was perfect. The only thing I would say, is just a pinch more salt on the meat. But I highly recommend coming here.
Dont be put off by the exterior shack, the inside is very different and the food is amazing! Really nice fresh organic burgers, I would reccomend!!!
I was so excited to try this place out, food on menu seemed so healthy. So glad I did, my husband got a classic burger I got a salad that was amazing ? oh lastly the strawberry lemonade was the bomb ?!!
The best strawberry shake! Indoor seating within the signature Quonset hut has great ventilation and the outdoor patio has a nice ambience. Great flavors with all of the food, whether starters or burgers, and all are enhanced by their sauces.
Pre-pandemic, Pono was in contention for best burger in SM, along with Misfit, Stout, Father's Office, etc. Not sure what happened last night. The patty itself had no structural integrity -- just mush -- bacon under-cooked, and too much fig jam. I would guess it was made by someone who didn't like ... food. 5 onion rings for $9.50 is laughable.
GREAT place! Wood fired food! The burgers are great as well as the sides!The people/servers are also great! I cook from scratch everyday at home and they are better!
I decided on takeout with this first time order: Posh burger, pommes frites and the house made lemonade. All was tasty! Burger cooked as requested, everything was fresh. When I went in to pick up my order I was met with friendly staff and asked to wait for the pommes frites to finish their frying and seasoning. While waiting I looked around a bit, the seating inside and out had a nice atmosphere. Definitely want to come back for the dining in experience, would be great during the day with the warmth of the sun!
