Great friendly service with a smile. Our server recommended 3 dishes to share between 2. One each of pork, beef and chicken. All delicious, fresh and very generous servings. We rolled out of there!
What happen to this place ??? I heard management revoked their sons managerial power and gave it to their daughter. Ever since that happened, I’ve seen the quality gone down in this establishment. My wife and I would always come here monthly for their Mexican soup (which is good) however I can’t support a disorganized business. Bring back the old manager! Separate your personal opinions Lares familyand bring back true leadership. I’m sure I can speak for other long time customers who have noticed.
I just wanna say that this is the best place to eat Mexican food I enjoy the vibe I enjoyed the rustic Mexican look inside the restaurant the food was very fresh the employees were very kind sweet I could honestly recommend this place to everyone parking was available easy access easy to fine on Google Maps
This place is FANTASTIC. Big portions but totally worth it, delicious food. We each got a different entree and tried tostadas, a speciality, and tacos and we all loved it. Service was fantastic (shout out to Manuel who is a great server and even gave me some Spanish help!)We really enjoyed it and will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu!We were celebrating a birthday and got a lovely aluminum foil rose and that was so creative and lovely!Highly recommend
Delicious authentic Mexican cuisine. Outdoor and indoor seating. Good prices taking in consideration the area. The waitress was so attentive and friendly. Our lunch came really quick.
Great Mexican food. Good amount of vegetarian options as well. Chips and salsa was the best part in my opinion. Salsa we got was really watery for my liking but tasted just fine. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Our waiter was knowledgeable of menu in detail and when he realized we were looking for vegetarian options, suggested substitutions. Rice is cooked in chicken broth so maybe something to avoid if you're vegetarian but still a great place, plenty of options and would go here again.
Staff was quick, friendly and professional. Eating outside on patio was awesome. Margaritas were terrific and the food... MMMmmmmmmm... so delicious!!!!ONLY problem was I was visiting from out of town and this place is too far away to make a regular dining experience!!!!
We walked to this restaurant from the hotel and i'm glad we did. The service and the food were great.
Let me just say this: one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever visited. Restaurant itself is mid-sized however is very cozy and inviting. The food is very authentic, keeping the root flavours and dish presentation, respecting the way they should be. Dishes are generous and will allow for two to share if that's decided. Service is very attentive, always accommodating to the guests. There are outside and inside seating accomodations as well as parking at the back side. Will visit the place again whenever I'm back in the area.
So glad we found this Mexican restaurant on Pico Blvd in Santa Monica. On our late night search for nachos, this restaurant was open with excited & friendly staff. We headed upstairs for a warm booth. Our guacamole appeared within one minute of ordering. The sampler was perfect for our kids and was topped with more guacamole! The Rancheras Chicken enchilada is perfect comfort food during this cold snap, with super tasty rice on the side. Save room for flan, I suggest you order one per person.:)
