I made a reservation at Lanea to celebrate my sister’s birthday and it was unfortunately a terrible experience. Upon arriving, the bartender, Ally, was busy taking shots with customers at the bar and ignored my party when we walked in. We made a reservation over 2 weeks ago and were told that we had a lounge seat reserved, and she had no idea, even when I had the emails to show her, which was fine. The issue is that she gave me and my party attitude that wasn’t warranted and not the level of service we expected. Last but not least, we were ignored at the bar for 30+ minutes when we tried to order food and drink when we tried to give the place a shot.Rude staff and not worth your wait. Go elsewhere!
Nice food and drinks! Good prices for Santa Monica and very good service from the ladies working in this place.However, and this is not against the staff in this place, the tipping culture in America… Even if your waiter/waitress is sh/#te you have to tip them and in Santa Monica the “lowest” option seems to be 18%! (No wonder why there are so many homeless here… They spent it all in tips…). This place also charges a surcharge of 3% for the kitchen staff. What’s next? Is the owner of the place going to ask the customer to pay for the electricity bill as well? Get a grip.

Delicious food! Cocktails and tequila were delicious. The bartender was able to give us a good tequila recommendation and I ordered the watermelon cocktail in addition. Ordered the carne asada taco, which was good and came with multiple salsas.Well priced for the quality. The tequila was delicious and sippable.
Drinks are definitely unique. Visited with a wedding after party crew where we were accommodated near the front and had late night snacks such a nachos and guac dip. Shared a flight of margaritas that were delicious, had a lil spicy kick to them, but you can't stop drinking.
The staff was friendly & made great drinks! I loved the service. They had games to play, nice seating & brought out little candles that were a great touch to the night vibe! I believe the bartender was Shannon, she was AMAZING I definitely recommend this place to everyone & will go back!
Yummy drinks and food. Love that they have vegan options. The veggie tacos were on point!
Ginger Margherita is The Jam. I love the candied ginger they top it with ♡ the music felt fun. The tacos were delicious. The lighting + vibe was really spot on.
