i had the Nonno Vito , seafood with squid ink linguine. Great ambient. The clam and mussels were fresh and flavorful. However, the pasta was made wrong in a few way. salt can be reduced by half. undercooked pasta (need at least 1-2 more mins cooking time). overcooked seafood (need to reduce at least 2-5 mins cooking time). The sauce had no flavor, no acidity or sweetness from tomato. Very disappointing.
Great atmosphere, service and vibe. I went on a Tuesday night and enjoyed the Jazz music playing on the lounge side of the restaurant. I loved the Rosa | San Giuannid Spaghetti alla Chitarra with-wood fired tomatoes. Our server told us that the pasta was made fresh that morning, as was the bread. The baked skin-on branzino fillet with minced zucchini, bread crumbs and extra virgin olive oil was delicious and the organic homemade gelato was the perfect light dessert to cap off our meal. Next time I'd like to try the pistachio-crusted salmon or one of their many pizzas.
Fantastic place. The food feels thoughtful. The company I work for ordered a $1000+ catering order and when I went to pick it up, not only were they on time but the provided their own real plating, helped me carry the food to my car and even gave us a complimentary dish (their vegetarian focaccia bread is INSANE!). We get lots of catering and for cute, fun places that put a lot of effort into their atmosphere and in store experience, the catering was fantastic. Clean feeing foods, will definitely be eating at the restaurant soon!
Came here with my partner for the Valentine's Day fixed menu dinner. The food was alright, not great, but alright. Service was a little slow. Our server needed help managing all the tables, we got a bit neglected. There was a cover band performing live music, so that was nice. The space was tastefully decorated and set up wonderfully. Overall, the place had a real cool hip vibe. However, I probably won't ever come back again. I can can find better food elsewhere for a more reasonable price with faster service.
We had dinner at La Puglia last week and it was not what we've hoped for. The restaurant has two rooms and although the room where you enter the restaurant looks nice, the other room is cold and uninteresting. The dishes were all bland, cold and absolutely not in pair with the prices they charge. The appetizers were not much better. Desserts were fine. Waiting staff was friendly and did apologize for our disappointing experience. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this restaurant.
Great food and great service. the owner Valentina is awesome.
I was visiting a friend who loves La Puglia and I could see and taste why. Every single little detail is so well curated in the design to the dinner ware. Truly gave me such happy vibes. I felt like I was on vacation ! And the food flavors just explode with delight in your mouth. I can’t wait to go back ! I am still reeling over my experience ! Run do not walk and you will thank me !
Great food! Light and Fresh ingredients. Everyone who complains about the wait. Get over it. Food is delicious and worth it. You want faster service, go to Taco Bell.
Great atmosphere and pasta is fresh
My wife and I waited 15 minutes to get water, 30 minutes before anyone took our order, 40 minutes before we had any morsel of food. When our appetizer came we had been there an hour already. My wife’s entree came out a full 15 minutes before mine - which the waitress was kind enough to bring us free bread as an apology. When my food finally came the pasta was undercooked, and visibly so. The manager was gracious to take the dish off our check but had the nerve to tell me that it’s just a different type of noodle that cooks al dente - as though I don’t know what pasta is supposed to taste like. On top of everything, the food just wasn’t great - if it had been spectacular I could overlook the kitchen and management issues, but it was completely unmemorable. Our waitress was very kind and apologetic and was clearly just overworked. I extend less sympathy to the kitchen and management and won’t be recommending this place to anyone.
