Ok on this Saturday afternoon at 3:45pm like nobody here.no good vibe from staff..my food came faster then my drink. Have no idea if I will return..looks like the staff is not trained properly..drink is to bitter..if you going make it Santa Monica you to on point with everything everytime..
If you want some of the best food, best ambiance and best service you need to stop here! The staff and the chef are amazing as well as the food! Don't waste your time driving around trying to find out where to go just set your directions and head here for one of the best nights you've had in a long time! About 20+ friends and I went here and couldn't agree on what to order so we ordered almost everything on the menu and I must day we weren't disappointed in any way whatsoever. You should do the same! Make sure yous top by and tell chef Jonah that Tank and the crew said hi! You won't be disappointed but I will be if you don't! Make sure you end your night with dessert!!
Food is amazing! Ambiance is incredible. We love the open fire.Only thing was salad came out after all of our food. So let's make sure we make it a point to let them know if we want our salad before all the meals or after ... I mean sometimes in other countries salad comes at the end, mind you I know this bc in South America that's the order in how we eat out meals ...however not customary in US. So let them know when you prefer your salad.We had brisket, corn, rice no beans & it was all fresh & scrumptious.
The service, quality of food and vibe were all excellent. Jonah and his team really put an amazing concept together. The family-style tapas (but good portions!) are conducive to bringing your family and friends together and sharing. The open kitchen concept and main entrance dining floor are nicely decorated but the tiki bar and elaborate styling of the back room takes it to another level! It’s like you’ve left the US and travelled to an exotic destination to eat exotic food!Brisket and peach cobbler were to die for! I will add Jonah’s to all my future LA trips!
One of the newest and best places in LA. A dozen buddies of mine,.enjoyed every bite. The owner and Jonah are a dynamic combo. Def check this place out. Everything was on point; lamb chops, peace cobbler, brisket, shrimp ? tacos, K-BBQ, and the famous Wagyu Tacos ?
Haven’t been to a place where the food is beyond delicious and the ambiance has the vibe to match…until I ate at Jonah’s Kitchen! Beautiful people everywhere, great music selection, DELICIOUS food, great drinks- been here a few times and always leave feeling better than when I walked in. The brisket is a must try- just melts in your mouth. The lamb chops are on another level. First time I tried this place, there were Ferraris, Lambos and Mclarens parked out front! High class venue out here in Santa Monica. Dress up and be prepared for a great night. A must visit.
By far one of my favorite restaurants in So. Cal. The chef and owner make any ordinary night out into a memorable occasion. The lomo saltado is a must have. The brisket melts in your mouth. And the ambience and service just takes it to another level. The chef even came out to check up on us and really made us feel welcome, and he legit looks like George Clooney !
One of the best place I've ever had. The lamb chops were 10/10. The juiciest, most tender chops. My mouth is watering just thinking about them now! Our group also tried the brisket, the lomo saltado, and a few other meats. Everything was absolutely amazing. So soft you didn't even need a knife to cut it up. And the vibe is awesome--really well designed atmosphere which is the perfect cherry on top. If you're local, definitely put this place on your list of places to go!
Jonah’s Kitchen satisfies every craving! Come here for great food, (you will never forget the food), good music, ambiance (the design is sick!) and vibe. You will not be disappointed. Get the brisket taco at least once, trust me!! Just do it!
