Hot Dogs Japanese Food Stands

We have never tired this in Vancouver and we got to try it here in Santa Monica. To be honest, I cannot tell the difference of Kobe beef or USDA beef, but it does taste good. Not only that, the Japanese manager/chef/cashier and Mr. Everything is friendly and speaking good English. We enjoyed talking to him.Try it and you will know why it is famous.

One of the best hotdogs I’ve ever had, a bit pricey but hey it’s really good and it’s on the boardwalk so it’s expected to be $$$

I love hot doggs and i love Japanese food, the Kurobuta Terimayo Dog has to be the best hot dog ive ever had . So simple yet soo good ! Its a hot dog with a twist of Japanese in it and they couldn’t have done it better. Ate it about 3 or 4 times this week . Delicious! Thank you japadog ??

Very delicious hot dogs. My wife and I stopped here after a bike ride and it totally hit the spot. Wish we had a place like this back in Chicago :(. Nonetheless, respect to this place.

Delicious and unique Japanese style hotdogs. Love the teriyaki & Japanese mayo sauce. The seaweed gives it a nice aroma & taste as well. Convenient location for a quick bite while you walk on the Pier.

Visited from GA a few years and haven't came back for a while. The hotdogs are so flavorful and scrumptious. I love the Japanese fusion they incorporated. My personal favorite is the Okonomi. Wish I could have tried more, but I'll be back!

It’s a very different take on hotdog and was delicious. Worth trying.Staff were also very helpful and friendly

Awesome hot dogs. I had the okinomiyaki version as I'd spent some time in Osaka and wanted to see if it reminded me of those Kansai pancakes. It was great! The sauce was particularly tasty. My wife had the Kurabuto Terimayo dig and she really enjoyed it. The location was obviously unique and amazing. Try it, you'll like it!

Very impressed, very good location and tasty style dog

It's a fun twist of street food hyrids. I would like to see their menu expand a bit, but given the long lines, it's probably best to stick to this. The churros are great and so is the elote dog. I have't tried much, but look forward to exploring the rest of the menu.
