Tacos were decent but they had a sauce on them and they had tomatoes on it which was weird. A little pricey seeing as though you can pull up to any taco truck in LA and expect to pay half their price for the tacos. The rice left a lot to be desired. Not the Mexican rice I’m used to but it might be someone else’s favorite. Almost tasted like Mexican rice from one of those packets at the grocery. Like hamburger helper goes to Cancun. The horchata was fantastic and the customer service was good. I’m satisfied. Finished my food minus the rice.
Worst fish tacos I've ever had. The fish was mostly bread, and when I tasted the fish it almost made me gag. The taste and texture were off, and it resembled frozen fish you get at a dollar store. We also got the super burrito with al pastor, and it was a disgrace to Mexican food. The rice tasted like instant rice. The beans tasted canned and not fresh. The tortilla was tasteless and chewy. Guacamole was bland. The al pastor was burned and bland. See a theme here? It's all bland! I don't have a better word for it. It's all just so boring and uninspired. They have no aguas frescas. They have horchata, but it's from a machine and not homemade. It tasted like a liquefied churro; it was way too sugary and sweet. We couldn't finish it.And the restaurant itself is awful. It's really narrow, feels cramped, and it feels dirty. We asked to dine in and still got our order in a take bag. No tap water, only $3 bottle water. No restrooms for customers!!! How can you not have restrooms for customers? This alone will make sure I never go back. Bland food, yet charge way too much. Do not come here. Not worth it at all.
Best burrito in town. Every Saturday morning I grab my California burrito and it’s always perfect!
Had the “Richie” breakfast burrito (substituted the egg whites for red beans). It had chicken, rice, squash, broccoli, bell peppers, red beans and they use a red mole, It doesn’t taste like mole to me, but it’s delicious.
5 Stars judged as a Taqueria (not a sit down restaurant). I've been trying out many many Mexican food places around here the last year, and this is definitely the real deal. Fresh quality ingredients, simply food, tasty, and good. Usually what makes a good tacqueria is meat, and this is real BBQ grilled meats. One word of caution: the Super burrito is not kidding around. It is roughly the size of a large marsupial. So if you order, it be hungry!
The food is delicious. Carne asada is so tasty. Guacamole is very tasty.
Favourite local no fuss burrito spot. Great value for money, chips are dope and the salsa is fab too, highly recommend.
Ordered a burrito deluxe for my brother and i, it was mostly rice and beans the beef is not tasted because is not enough for the proportions, the end result is an overprized meatless burrito. With covid around, make sure you order exactly what you want because once they give you the food, they wont put a finger on it since you already touched it, not even to cut the sealed burrito in half.2 stars, one for the crunchy tortilla chips and their hot sauces wich are pretty good.Enjoy your visit, dont recommend burrito deluxe.
5 stars are for service! This little spot is a short walk from the beach and Santa Monica Pier. Food was good but could have used a bit more seasoning. Then again, I'm from Texas. And everything in California is basic.
Delicious burrito. I got the California. It was a very large portion and the service was quick.
