Dropping my daughter to college
Food is not tasty at all, really bad service. We ordered two avocado salads and received them without avocado. Had to ask for it twice. Then ordered drinks that never came. Even water was disgusting.

Food was fairly good at the time. Staff was quick and responsive. Both my friend and I had stomach issues as soon as we got home.. probably wonât come back unfortunately.
The price goes crazy in my point of view. They don’t have all-you-can-eat in the weekend, so I ordered three dishes of beef plus tofu and rice. I am not full after finishing these because the portion is too small. But the price went up to 50$ even if I am using happy hour discount. The beef is ok, but the tofu is too salty for me. I will not come again in the weekends.
They advertise all you can eat pricing. I even confirmed by phone when I made the reservation. Then they don’t honor it. Individual pricing is totally a rip off because they give you a tiny, tiny portion for each order. Like 5 bite sized pieces for $15-$20. So it will end up costing $250-$200 per person if you order a lot of food.
So fun! Meats were so delicious and tender. Service was excellent. Great experience!
Gyu-kaku is a chain but the entire staff here have missed out on what other locations are doing in regards to service training and organization. It took 4 people at the front to sort out which party was next to be seated. No plates or utensils brought out until after several dishes were served. No tongs delivered. No scissors for some cuts of meat. No mention as to what any of the dishes were. Drinks were finally served half way thru the meal. The grill was never exchanged for a clean one AT ALL. Table busing staff went by several times without removing plates despite the huge amount of clutter on the table for all the dishes. Water never refilled. Child seat never given despite asking. Entire wait staff should be either fired or the place shut down until someone sorts out what the inefficiency and disorganization issues are. Avoid this location. Make the drive to another.
